  1. That vile trackie tap Terrahawk wears constantly has a tricolour on the inside of the collar - so bring bk the orange and see what they say. Could always says it's a tribute to Irn Bru sponsoring the league !
  2. I seen Peru's new home kit (belter) and thought this would've been a great strip in white with orange sash and trim, white shorts and white socks with orange tops ! - made by Umbro as well.
  3. The boys probably had his ear bent and twisted that much by his ratbag agent who at the end of the day probably doesn't get any cut from a 'development compensation' fee. Plus if the lad TUPED over and a nominal fee was required his agent would've been telling him it might just be enough to scare away any potential clubs. If he ever gets the chance to move on again for a large transfer fee - lets see how much of a rangers man he is and see if he hands a wee pot of cash back to Bobby Russell for the academy as a thanks for all that help. Tony Pullis was quoted as saying - it's scandalous that i can pick a player up from Rangers like Ness for no fee ! but that's life sometimes. It's a Dog eat Dog it seems.
  4. Stick a wee bag of chicken pakora in the inside of yurr jaiket for HT ......... that'd be better than a pie ! but if there's 13 bits you a Tobemeister might huv tae fight it oot for the last bit ! the loser getting the wee crunchie bits at the bottom of the bag, then again they're better sometimes. Ah but what sauce - the pure mad mental red one 9good on a winters day) or the yoghurt one !
  5. That's what i was thinking. Imagine being outnumbered approx 90/1 for a home game. QP who have amateur status will make a fortune that day - just unheard of in the game these days. No doubt the mhedia will find a negative slant on this though.
  6. Poor East Stirling ! ................. they'll no know whats hit them !
  7. The SPL wid never ket this happen ! ! ! ...................... unless they got a cut , personally picked the winner, made sure they had a deep rooted hatred of the Gers .............oh and he supported Septic !............... stpe forward Mr Liewell. Good luck Mr ES Chairman !
  8. Feck it gee him , Andre , Simon Cowell any other bufter that thinks they can handle it , The trial is on a Wednesday, Dec 12th , 8pm KO at Arbroaths very aptly named - GAYFIELD ! ............. we'll see if he can cut it in Div 3 then when his fake tan runs in the sleet and pissin rain and his pearly whites are knocked doon the back of his throat !
  9. I'm sure i read a statement at the time that stated that there was a small fee up front with the balance over 2013 / 2014 . Not sure if Everton are still liable for that debt , or would that sum go staright to creditors. Would Everton do the honourable thing and still pay the debt ? ? ? CG stated that he would honour/settle all Scottish footballing debts 1st then any European footballing debts still oustanding from the Oldco. A few clubs have been far too quick to bad mouth us in the press about all this so by doing the above CG must see it as a way of putting the record straight and getting clubs to trust us again or it'll need to be free agents for the next while................ but the position we're in just now we can't afford to splash money on signing fee's .
  10. Clyde are meant to be in a joint venture with EK Thistle Juniors for a new park / training facility. The Colts apparently won a massive grant and it's them who are laying the new surface if i'm not mistaken . Is that right Glasgow Blue nose ? Also heard that rent was 25k a month ?
  11. I wasn't there last night but sounds like a crackin turnout and again chairman all over the land must be wondering how you get fans like us. You get demoted to Div 3 and still turn up with at least 38k for a home game. I had a thought the other week. When we play Queens Park at Hampden could this be a chance to prove and show (maybe break a record) for away fans to totally outnumber the home support. We'll see how good they are at putting a figure on the crowd that day !
  12. It was in the Club deck ! then security tried tae shoo it doon the stairs and it managed to bolt onto the park ! I thought it was Chris Burke ............ then i seen it had pace !
  13. There must be a couple of 1st/2nd Div strikers worth taking a punt on without spending too much dosh. Somebody who'd love the opportunity to pull on that famous blue jersey and get the chance to train at our facilities (cant bring myself to call it the official name) . I know they're trying to pull in a better standard of player in prep of the embargo but i'd still reckon somebody from these divisions who'd give ye an answer in 2 secs has to be a better option that these players who think it's beneath them to play Div3 !!!
  14. After the last 6-8 months mate i think most Rangers fans could open up their own charted accountants. Never read so much about CVA's, EBT's, Liquidation of assets, buyouts , FTP's , WATP, GIRUT .........
  15. I know guys have mentioned that without the Whittakers, Davis's & Shaggers we're cutting the wage bill right down by approx 10mill but that was led us to our original problem. We were pulling in 40mill a year but spending 50 !!! and that was on top heavy money from Tv, sponsorship & European footie. Tennents are offering nowhere near the 1 mill as previouslty received due to us being in Div 3 and the lack of exposure. I'd also be interested to find out how much corporate hospitality has remained and at what price is that selling at now. I believe from friends of Blacks that he's on 7k a week. I'd imagine he wasn't anywhere near that at Hearts. So he basically gets a payrise to drop down to Div 3 ? ? ? It not like he's a lifelong gers man. Maybe Green has asked members of his consortium to bank role a couple of key signings until we stabalise and establish more steady revenues of income to support higher wages without killing us . I really hope Green comes good for us but i still don't think the man really understands what it means & takes to be RANGERS CHAIRMAN and the enormity of this job.
  16. They did well to get their win especially with all the 'will we won't we get licenece debacle, 1st game nerves as you could imagine the mhedia if we got beat they'd have paddy bonners this morning ! I think yesterday was a wee taster for what every team will bring against Rangers this season but we should be used to that because every teams always wants tae beat us. If i was Ally i'd be looking at couple of cluggers to compete in that midfield. These teams have seasoned journey men who know they're divisions inside out and will try and use that to get in about any ball playing youths we have. They looked a bit light yesterday but that'll be down to being schooled in playing football. Would it be a daft idea for Coisty to recruit a div 1 manager as a no.2 or assistant. Somebody who's worked their way up and knows pitches , conditions, players. Well done anyway boys. Now Elvis's turn to get a doing !
  17. Still gee's me the heeve to log on to BBC Sport Football and click Div 3 and no the SPL ! Onwards and upwards !
  18. Don't forget that the U19's got put up to U20 so a lot of clubs probably retained players that were ready to get shown the door.
  19. I'm pretty sure Beattie's family are all big blue noses. Plus the boy was schooled by us only to be let go which is different from walking or wanting away. Think the fact that there's a good chance of no OF games then the idea of signing ex celtic player doesn't bring up any flash point or situtaion to GIRUT if he scores !
  20. When Green entered all this we were in the SPL , looking for a CVA to be accepted and all but 1 player (if i remember correctly) were still Rangers players. Since then we've been liquidated, banned from europe for 3 years at least , look like we'll be booted out SPL and at this rate won't even make 3rd division and nearly lost 7-9 1st team players ..................... not exactly the midas touch Green ? ? ? Nothing against McCoist but do we think these guys would be leaving if Smith was still there ? or does the players leaving help his friends possibly get round the table with Green again to discuss selling as the position we're in just now not even Green would've seen that coming.
  21. He's a smashin player. But i asked this on here the other day and didn't get an answer. Do Everton still have to pay the balance of the fee which was due 2013 & 2014 or does that debt die with the 'old co' ? if no then Mr Moyes has won a watch and did the best bit of footie business in years
  22. To be fair we've just gubbed his club for approx £800k so would you vote for us ? Not saying i agree with the nut job but bear this in mind any club that we've fecked over in previous years that hold any major grudge against us or the club will never get a better chance to kick us right in the baws right now. But whose to say in 6mths to a year we've not got another 4/5 SPL clubs in Div 3 !!!
  23. Rumour 1 - Mark Zuckerberg is going to buy us as he wants to get out of Facebook before it goes tits up ! ............. silent partner Tina Turner whose royalty cheque buys her a place on the board . Rumour 2 - Roman Ibramovich . Londons no cold enough , miserable enough and corrupt & bent enough for him so Scotland is the next closest place to 'home' . Salt mines for you Regan !
  24. Not sure if this bit has been covered but i had a thought last night around players and fee's. I'm assuming the money owed to Hearts for Lee Wallace is null and void if we no longer exist as our Old Co who he signed for and who Hearts would've had an outstanding fee with but the other flip side of that is we're owed money by Everton for Jelavic over the next 2 years so does that just vanish as well ? Swings and roundabouts but to gain L Wallace for the mini fee wee paid and lose Jelavic for 1 installment is no the best !!! if that is the case Everton have won a watch........ this is the same player we supposedly knocked back 9 mill for !!! We're so in need of a strong head figure, a strong voice on all fronts and a business person to ensure this never ever happens again.
  25. it's like one big long episode of Scooby Doo wey folk rippin masks aff everywhere. So what if it's all part of the plan. Murray runs a pile of shite debts up and runs for the hills = Murray bad guy. Whyte comes in and runs up further debts and runs for the hills = Whyte bad guy . Various others come and go with kiddy on offers = they're aw bad guys. Green comes in with weak CVA offer, wants to rename everything thats rid , white & blue , HMRC pish aw over it and liquidate us = Green bad guy. Sir Walter Smith arrives at the 11th hour with no 'toxic' debts to answer to, no CVA to answer to, no will we go into liquidation to answer to. It's aw taken care of. Sir Walter Smith Training Academy has a certian ring to it !!!
