Generally we are a bit anything goes on here. We don't strictly moderate things, but that's our thing as a forum. If we go staunch and strict we are no longer RM. It's a free internet - if people don't like the way we do things, go and try VB, FF, GersNet, etc. They are all fine forums each doing things a bit different from each other thus appealling to different types of internet fan.

That said, we generally remove anything we see that I think could get people into trouble and/or we don't think is appropriate. We generate anywhere between 7000 and 30,000 posts in a day and well..... we don't read them all - especially over the festive period.

The nature of a forum is we have to moderate it reactively. Somebody posts something inappropriate, a moderator either sees it, or the content gets reported to us as being inappropriate. If nobody reports it, there is a reasonable chance (particularly on a busy thread), that we will miss it.

This is where I am annoyed, if this content was highlighted to us be it via a PM, via a report, whatever, we could of reacted to it. If we had it reported then never reacted..... yeah we are fair game.

Is it really a surprise that content posted on Hogmany and New Years day gets missed and swallowed up in the thousands of posts since.

I must of missed the array of talent he has been holding back from game time. The only players he has yet to give a start are Robinson, Faure, Shiels (impact sub in seems under McDowell), Mohsni and then any young players who's loan spells ended.
Don't get me wrong I feel Gallagher should be starting, but I fail to see how somehow he it has got so bad (in the FIVE games he has been interim manager of) that the board now need to pick the team as he has been failing to change it up.

Folk need to accept Ashley is going to own us outright soon enough and get behind the club. This could be a great boost and we will need bums on seats and play our part. Forget the propaganda and look at what is happening.

This is the "gotcha" line being put out there by the SOS/UOF guys so that they can be unhappy with the Board. If we pay their wages, it is Ashley's fault that we are using his loan to pay their wages. If NUFC is paying their wages, then Somers lied about using the loan money to strengthen the team. They are trying to cover all their bases to remain totally against anything that this Board does....pure politics.

Mike Ashley cares if Rangers get promoted. He doesn't care if we beat Celtic in the third most important competition we play in.
Why can some people not see the genuine benefit of his involvement, and instead just find a way to piss on it.

Mr Rangers in his pay decrease negotiations made sure it will cost £1.5m to get rid of him and his team. I have no doubt the upturn in ticket money would offset this, but sadly we have a moronic collection of Fans groups who would just use it against the Board. Having nonsense to fire at Wallace or the Easdales means more to them than Rangers actually being a decent football team.
The man should walk and waive any pay off given he is such a Real Rangers man, he has taken more than enough off us for his "management".

Fuck sake he'll never be sacked
1. The person who would be required to do it won't have the balls (unless it's Green)
2. The pay off would be too much
3. What would be the reason as Ally could sue for unfair dismissal if it's a case of being sacked after going a season unbeaten in the league. The board see the cups as a bonus not a must
4. Most important reason maybe , they believe the fans who have renewed / bought ST's have done so out of love for Ally and won't do anything to alienate fans further

The managerial aspect is having a major impact on fans decision to renew or not. It would be churlish to deny it isn't a major issue.

Blame the fans that used logic and and that were not easily mislead like sheep by King and a bunch of "fans representatives" all you want... at the end of the day, you're the one withholding the money the club has relied on for years... you're the cause. I couldn't give a shit if you want to try and spin it and blame a board that's been in power for a matter of months, at the end of the day, the finger still points to you and the others intent on bringing the club to its knees!

We have been needing a total clear out for a long time. Even when Walter was manager it was clear to see we were struggling alot, players looking unfit and playing in wrong positions however we were scraping wins and that was fine although the cracks were showing even though. Go back 5 years on this board and some of the threads about being defensive and players looking unfit are a carbon copy of what you see regularly today. It's a shame that we have been mediocre for so long. As bad as Admin was it was the perfect time to restructure the entire team and get used to playing good football. It didn't happen though and it is so bad that we have a team of SPL selects that can't defeat plumbers and brickies. Daly, Shiels, Law, Templeton and Bell were all the star players for there teams in the top league yet they are all abysmal in this Rangers team playing against poor teams. How is this even possible, every player we seem to buy loses all there ability within 3 months. We need to start from scratch again with a proven manager and new backroom staff or we won't get anywhere for years to come. We will continue to be mediocre in years to come and will get nowhere near the SPFL title, lucky to get a top 6 finish at this rate.

They're 39th out of 42 teams in Scotland and we've the second highest wage bill, it's unacceptable end of. Week after week we're having to put up with this utter pish.
