I used to play squash at the gym with Boss Man and Bob every Tuesday. I was just a wee bit better than Boss Man and I won 90% of the matches. Bob was just a wee bit better than me and he beat me in 90 % of the matches. The amateur team I involved with went toe to toe with a really good team on Monday night. They won in the last couple of minutes because they were a bit better. When Walter was in charge first time around the matches were very often tight but I think we only lost 7/41 or thereabouts. Thats sport. If you're not quite as good but can still make a good game of it as often as not you lose.

Morelos is slower than molasses in January. Teams can play a high line and he's done. He is not in shape to bully defenders like he used to. Kent's performance was shameful. The only time I can think of him touching the ball was when instead of taking on the defender, cutting inside and shooting he passed to Barasic in an offside position. He did exactly the same in the first few minutes in the last match. He can pack his bags along with Morelos. And if I was Burnley I'd be looking elsewhere.

Apparently Sportscene highlights made it look like we were well beat. Clearly not the case but it doesn't help when we don't shoot. Kent in first few minutes running into the box he's got to get it onto his right foot and shoot. Before we know it the ball is back at half way line. Morelos goal not given was poor. Their 2nd goal I'll need to see again but I thought it hit their players arm before it went to kyogo. Maybe not. 2nd and 3rd goals were shambles that an amateur team would be ashamed of. Morelos had 2 great chances to score early 2nd half and couldn't. They aren't brilliant but we still lost. Why tf don't we shoot. Kent early on should have done his shimmy got it onto his right foot and shot. Pretty depressing but with a bit of optimism that they aren't brilliant. League done and dusted concentrate on cup.

I had no idea people were so unhappy with Park. I was aware of discord but not particularly at Park. Bennett getting it tight and he hasn't even started yet.

It's all very well saying FtB. How much to pay back the money owed to existing Board. Buy their shares and provide funds to improve the team. Take on any other debt. We are presently being sued for £10mn by various companies. That's well North of £50mn. Probably well North. Who is going to pony up that. The present incumbents will be there for some time to come.
