  1. Everything that’s going on in Scotland under this totally incompetent but hand picked sfa is what’s wrong. From national team embarrassments, lack of technical footballers, lack of attendances in the rest of the guff, a trophy which incorporates wales and Northern Ireland’s leagues into it, joke reffing of games, totally inconsistent retrospective action by an idiot, and although it’s a different body the league split has to be the most amateur decision in the history of every decision ever made. Too many are in the game for self gain, now it’s normal in life that everyone wants to gain but surely if the fans and sponsors see a product that’s on par with English league 2 and it’s supposed to be our top division with euro representation every year then anyone with half a brain would push to change things. The sfa should be re-elected for starters- then start at the under 16s and headhunt the best available coaches for that age group and so and so on, upto senior level. Get all the top league teams round a table with a 10 year plan to have atleast 4 youth academy players in the 1st team squad for match days or face financial penalties that go to charity. Do away with Hampden Park unless it’s a match against your frances or Italy’s etc. Games vs San Marino could easily be accommodated at Easter rd,killie etc. After the 5th round in the cup do away with replays- straight to et and pens. Just a few thoughts on how and why the game is so rank in Scotland. They could speak to the German fa. After the embarrassment of euro 2000 they totally restructured.
  2. For me it’s hard to be happy they got beat as although I was born in England I grew up watching Scotland with my family and it was good. You could relate to the team as it had a few Rangers players in it, but now because of the fact none of them are continually picked that attachment has gone. Losing 3-0 to that lot has to be as bad if not worse than is losing to progres last year. Eck was never the correct choice and I can’t understand why he was chosen.
  3. Out of any players recently brought back only kenny Miller has proved it worthwhile, sadly he’s done now. But for some reason a lot of ex players think we should automatically look to other ex players because they’re available. now did I want Rangers to go after Naismith? No. And not just because of that statement- what’s he done since leaving us? He had a good run in moyes Everton side and that’s it, he’s since lost his Scotland place and has spent a lot of time on the sidelines and you would have to ask why the 2 managers who’ve signed him for Everton and Norwich haven’t bothered about taking him to their new clubs.
  4. Anyone see a pattern emerging? Better off at u20 level
  5. Bang right. He gets so much free space that he has bundles of time on the ball to pass backwards or sideways. The question is do we have a player disciplined enough to man mark him for the full game? Also would they be willing to take a tackle and not over react as that’s what browns best skill is. ive said it many times but when Rodgers reverted to 4-4-2 back in March as Armstrong got injured, brown got pushed further into midfield and never had any influence from 70 min onwards. And that was only up against hyndman
  6. Ashley is on record a few weeks ago stating that he may we’ll be worth a few billion but doesn’t have it in cash. He would by his own admission need to sell his stake in sports direct. I’d be really surprised if he got involved with any other clubs outwith shirt sale agreements. Where’s the minty rumour from? I saw it on Twitter a week or so ago but no real substance to it
  7. The bulk of Ashley’s money is tied up in assets. Absolutely no chance he will be involved in football again.. what’s the point? He’ll never make a profit at a Scottish club and when it inevitably goes wrong the fans would turn worse than the geordies did.
  8. celtic are some way infront of us because of the manager.. folks wax lyrical over Roberts and Sinclair, well we never saw any others takers for them did we?? It's the manager and only the manager that has them way I front of us
  9. According to the commentators they have a bench full of riches and you could be forgiven if you thought they were talking about neymar when dembele came on
  10. Bang right. He's extremely average at best and it's blatantly obvious that playing for Rangers was too much pressure for him
  11. If anyone's seen waghorn goals for Ipswich they are the exact chances he was missing for us last year. It's not like Pedro never gave him plenty of chances through the middle and before the progres 2nd leg it was pretty much agreed on here that he should be moved on. now he scores a few goals the story is different.
  12. Absolutely appalling even by their standards. A new low. Hope the ugly cunt gets his arse kicked
  13. The club would've only sold him in division 3, there's no way we could've afforded the wages and as much as I hate it that he and the others chose to jump ship, they obviously made a lot more money by having no transfer fee involved. it should've been handled a lot better and the fans and club treated with more respect but they did what was right by them and their families in the end
  14. Maybe we can loan a manager. King would sanction that cos at least he wouldn't need to worry about wages
  15. It's the managers fault Barton has no respect for him. I would imagine if any player over stepped the mark with any manager they'd be gone. Wether paid off or sold in the next window. The only thing the manager is guilty of is listening and trusting his friend dyche in his assessment of the cunt that is joey barton
  16. Looking back at his debut it was just half arsed effort and I can remember one particular comment on the radio about other players he knows getting pay rises while he joined us and took a pay cut, coupled with his admission in his book. he knew the day he arrived for training it wasn't a good fit
  17. There's no doubt in my mind the guy wanted away as soon as he arrived. Good bye and good riddance
  18. Everybody is wrong and basically Barton is right. The board is wrong for suspending him and backing the manager. The manager is wrong because he plays a 4-3-3 and Barton can't play that game so he should change everything for Barton. Andy halliday started the argument and secretly planned it in the summer and got all the players to play shite to get the inevitable reaction from Barton. the rest of the players are to blame because they've slowly turned the dreadful performances into decent ones since Barton's fiasco (they did it on purpose). Barton is to blame for nothing I you!! It's everyone else's doing
  19. Most of us seem to be blaming the board but has anyone thought Barton has been working his ticket all along? After all he does regret signing for Rangers. A player with his experience shouldn't ever look like a lost sheep in an old firm game. He wants out as much as the club want him gone but with his money of course
  20. Charlie Adam the undisciplined shambles of a footballer
  21. Good luck to the guy. An honest pro that gives his all
  22. The statement mentions facts alot.. well if they read the facts. This shit is fucked up
