I've just spoken to Carol at Erskine Park Home, and she's delighted. She's also blown away by your response.
She's told me that I can tell you Cammy's "real" name, which is 'Dinger'. (no relation to Cammy!)
Apparently Dinger was asking the staff just this morning when could he get to a game. They said they didn't know. Now they do.
Carol told me that Erskine Mains Home also has a resident who is in the same boat as Dinger, so he'll be heading along too.
I've had a look at the Argyle Hospitality package, and I see that it's a three course meal with wine, which is great, but it's a cash bar , - so we'll need to give them a few quid for drinks too.
I think that with just a few more donations, we can raise just enough to cover that.

Is there any truth in the rumour that GB sits in front of his computer stroking a white cat and dreaming of world charity domination?

For some reason I was blocked from posting on another thread, hope this gets to you GB.
Just donated for tickets £25.00.
Hope it's a great day weather wise, not to mention a favourable scoreline. Nice one GB.

The snp have a strong republican element within their support , a fact that cannot be denied.Rangers supporters backing them gives me the boak.
As does our crest on that red and black background ( are you protesting about the current board?).
Red white and blue. Colours of the club and the flag which represents our United Kingdom.

Folk cry at how we are treated and the bias shown towards our club yet we vote for the shit to continue and at another level.
At least I can look myself in the mirror knowing I didn't try and kill my union and clubs traditions.

Nationalism/Republicanism are two cheeks of the same arse..
The cult that is the SNP is overran with folk like Sheridan and other tarriers..
The fact that there was a Republican FB wildly applauded whilst playing go home British Soldiers when walking bye the Cenotaph says it all..

If any Rangers fans think voting SNP is a worthy cause then have a look at this.

If you're happy seeing these cunts in power then you're obviously just as happy seeing that shower walk our streets.

Guidetti gets away with singing h*** are deid about us. A bear gets 4 MONTHS in jail for singing BB.
They try to ban our Forces day yet play their rebel tunes at our cenotaph. We raise money for Lee Rigby, they celebrate his murder.
Famine song illegal, go home ya h*** not punished.
Hmrc leaks turning scotland against us. Yet authorities ignoring some of the worst sexual abuse of kids in this shit hole.
Labour led GCC funding the bheggars through the CWG to the tune of millions. Purely coincidental that the East End also got regenerated yet Rangers and Govan got...........rugby.
Football, society, politics are inextricably linked.
The SNP is anti PUL.
Vote who you want but dont talk bull that politics dont involve Rangers.

I've just had a (half-hour!) chat with Carol about everything we're up to.
Once again she passes on her thanks, but in particular she wanted to thank us again for making John's Wish on the Wishing Wall come true. She was telling me a bit more about John. He's 96, and sadly he doesn't take much active interest in any of the Recreational Activities that are always going on at Erskine.
Except one - anything that involves going to see Rangers, and he's out the door before you can say "grab your scarf"
Carol wanted me to try to get across to you how important these match tickets have been to Erskine Park, because without them, the staff would struggle to find anything else that would engage John so readily.
John will hopefully be able to attend the RDF Fundraising Night at Ibrox too. He's certainly looking forward to it.
Which reminds me - we had reserved 10 tickets for Erskine for the RDF Fundraising Night.
But then it occurred to me that 9 Passengers plus a driver left 2 empty seats on their Bus - which seemed like a missed opportunity.
So we'll now be buying 12 tickets instead, and making sure the bus is full.
Total cost £180

Good Deeds - Member Donation
A big Thank-You to Loyal Fund Member offshoreworker who has also stepped up with a donation!
offshoreworker is already the Proud Sponsor of Erskine Bishopton's Match Programme Subscription.
He has also paid £40 to reserve 4 RDF Fundraising Night tickets for himself and his family.
Unfortunately he forgot to tell his wife, who has now gone and booked their Summer Holiday for the same period.
So offshoreworker has had to cancel his reservation - but he told me to keep the £40 and do something useful with it.
If we add that £40 to the additional £10 he donated last night , that gives us the magical number of £50
Meaning that offshoreworker's latest donation can pay for our 4th and final Rangers TV Subscription for Erskine Bishopton Home.
Meaning that every other single penny we receive in the current fundraiser from the rest of the Members can now go straight towards Play-off Tickets for Erskine.

Good Deed - Ticket Donation from Member
A big Thank-You to Loyal Fund Member SW3 who has (once again!) generously donated a pair of tickets for the Play-off Away Game v QOTS.
These have been sold on at face value to an RM Member, the Sponsors' Fund is now £25 better off, and the £25 will be spent on Ibrox Tickets for Erskine Veterans next season.

I'm getting the play-off t-shirts ordered as we speak.
I'm still undecided whether to go with my suggestion...
or your suggestion...
