I really don't want to get into the arguments about how we spent so much cash to win leagues that we won before the seasons kicked off. We did however have the second largest wage bill in the country to win amature leagues. That is a failing of both Ally and the former board, we were always going to win the last two leagues we should never have blown our cash on winning one horse races.

Coaching job and emergency cover at best, as i said earlier i love Jig but he's a liability at CB and far too slow and nowhere near good enough at CM. Time for the big man to start the next stage of his career and see what kind of a coach he can be.

Ally admitted a while ago he only plans for the short term i believe he said something along the lines of "if i take my eyes off the short term then i could lose my job" or words to that effect. It shows that Rangers has been so obsessed with winning today that we have always muddled along hoping tomorrow would look after itself and it quite often did when we had cash and great players. Ally isnt alone in not planning too far ahead but he had 3 years where the long term could of been really planned out and yet only 2 years in we are no further ahead on that and maybe even gone backwards.

I do think Allys obvious distrust of young players is to blame, but that's for another thread tbh.
