  1. Boyd and Clark with Miller playing anywhere just behind them.
  2. Apart from that dubious tackle, Miller has hardly been the one disappointing us. That'd be McCoist. And he's the one who keeps playing guys like Jig...
  3. That's quite literally the worst excuse he could try and use to defend our current position. Fuck sakes.
  4. We'll finish that game with about 8 players on the pitch
  5. Aye, it's going to be tough. We need to minimise our loses, which is why we need a new manager. McCoist is failing in the second tier of Scottish football. What does he need more time for? To embarras himself even more in the premiership (if we even get there under him). But if I was a betting man, I'd put money on hearts losing a few games soon.
  6. I have no idea if this is true. But after the Hearts game, there's been a feeling that this is actually it. The time has finally come when Ally will walk or get his arse booted out of the dugout. Things are changing. He has almost to supporters left. Even the media have started to acknowledge his failures, instead of bigging him up. Anyone else?
  7. I'm not defending Ally. I want him gone before the Killie game in fact. But why do people keep saying this? Are you all assuming that Hearts are going to go unbeaten? The chances of that are pretty slim, in my opinion.
  8. Has anyone ever had a little look over at the Motherwell forum? The way the speak about McCall is like night and day compared to the way we speak about Ally. He was respected by almost all of their fans. They were all sad to see him go, and hardly anyone was blaming him for the defeats he had started to suffer. He has that going for him at least. I wouldn't be against him replacing Ally, short term.
  9. Is Zalukis even injured? I thought McCoist had just put him in the doghouse for some reason.
  10. Miller was absolutely livid when he was taken off. I mean, you could see that he was already pissed off during the match in the second half. But I don't think it's too crazy to presume he was pissed off at Ally's choice of sub. I would have taken Miller off too, he was pissed off and likely to get a second yellow. But we needed someone like Miller on the pitch. And guess what. We have a very similar player in Nicky Clark (his token appearance at the end does not count). Did anyone else notice the face on Clark when Miller was taking his seat, and Foster was making his way onto the pitch? He looked like he had just given up any hope he had of winning or even playing. His face and mine were exactly the same. Miller off, for Foster? Fuck sakes. Templeton looked like he was watching a car crash happen in front of his face, too. Ally needs to go. Anyone still supporting Ally is a McCoist fan boy first and foremost. Idolising Ally comes before the good of Rangers to these people now. Bluepeter9 is a decent poster. Sometimes he posts quite intelligently. But his love for Ally McCoist is making him blind. The thread on here last week by another poster "__to the ally bashers" was a total joke. "The Ally Bashers", as if we're a minority. I don't want to see Ally McCoist embarrass himself anymore. Part of the reason I wish he'd step down is for the man to try and keep some of the respect he used to have by every Rangers fan alive. Even some non-bears used to like this guy. Now he's the laughing stock of Scottish football. Just go, man.
  11. Black is one of our best players now. The only people who can't see that are the ones who don't want to eat their own words back when we first signed him. He, more than anyone else, got absolutely slated every time we played poorly in the third division, and it mostly wasn't his fault. I remember a time on here when a lot of people were constantly hoping Black would be dropped for fucking Hutton. Thankfully most of our support came to realise he's not all that pish.
  12. I've never been to Tynecastle, but I always like the look of it on the telly when Rangers are playing. Nothing on Ibrox mind you.
  13. Daly was great last season too, until McCoist worked the poor bastard into the ground! He was probably wishing for a wee injury to catch his breath haha
  14. Miller will peg him. Boyd will slip one past him. Mohshni will jump on him. Fuck him.
  15. Good point. I meant to put that in my OP. There's got to be a lot of examples of players becoming better in their "shoe horned" positions, than they ever were in the position they originally thought themselves to be masters of.
  16. Black. The hate he gets is over the top. One of our best players. Smith too. He's a weird one. I know Wallace is a better defender than him. But I think Smith contributes more to the team than Wallace does. I remember last season when Wallace was out, we played better as a team with Smith in his place. Wallace gets the opposite treatment than Black from our supporters actually. He can be distinctly average, but never gets criticized. Smith is a good squad player. His crossing and range of passing is much better than Wallace's too. If Wallace were to go, I'd feel comfortable with Smith in his place, for sure.
  17. Obviously this is referring to players being played in positions "a bit foreign to them", to steal a line from Kenny Miller. We have players like Macleod. He "should" be playing in the middle of the park. But how many times has he actually played there in his senior career? Is there a cut off point, where a young player has played out of position for so long that he is no longer ever going to be capable of becoming the brilliant center midfielder we all hoped he would?
  18. I'm aware of the fact that the majority of us despise them. But for some reason, McGregor has always been the least vilified. There's plenty of people on here who would welcome him back to Ibrox. But that's not the point I was making. I still think that most football fans are so fickle that if he did return, the majority of fans would quickly forgive him after a few great performances (throw in a few press conferences with him saying the right things). It happens all the time. Mind you, a situation like ours has never happened before. Maybe the hatred for them is far too great.
  19. People always go on about how much they hate the traitors, and rightfully so. They took advantage of our bad situation to their own gain. But I bet the majority of our supporters would be lapping McGregor up once he made a few wonder saves. It's always the same in football.
  20. What are you talking about? Rangers vs Clyde is a Petrofac cup game. The Petrofac cup is the sponsors name for the Scottish Challenge Cup (last year it was called the Ramsdens). The Scottish Challenge cup competition was founded in 1990. You trying to say they made this trophy up decades before Rangers would ever even compete for the cup, to get money out of Rangers fans? A diddy cup, aye. A conspiracy to get money from bears, naw.
  21. What? Looks like a team of youths plus a few fringe players who have failed to impress. Aside from Nicky Clark and Gallagher, I have no idea who you could be expecting big things from...?
  22. Who would you prefer to play at left back if Wallace was out with an injury, if you're so happy to have Smith go?
