Ugh. I live in a different time zone. Every morning I wake up and the first thing I do is check this forum for news. Almost every day for the past few years, I have woken up to bad news. Ally learned under a great manager and he was shite. McDowell learned under a shite manager...maybe he'll turn out alright? Anyway, he'll be trying to make a name for himself. He'll make some changes to the team on Saturday, for better or worse, of that I'm sure.

They're all creaming their panties at predicting a Rangers Media meltdown because McDowall used to work for celtic, as if we didn't know or something. As if we care. Ally needs to leave, I agree. 100%. But isn't Hateley regularly described as an arrogant arsehole, and an all round general prick of a man? I don't know what's true or false, but the exact opposite of what you are claiming could be just as true. The board, with Hateley in their pocket, are trying to turn Ally into public enemy number one. Why? To take the heat of themselves in the upcoming AGM. It's a possibility, you must at least humour this idea? As I said, I don't know what's true or false. But neither do any of us, rather unfortunately. Sometimes I wonder if people on here really do believe what they're saying, or if it's just more of a RM vs FF thing. I visit both sites, and the opinions which circulate on them are almost always polar opposites to one another. It's very peculiar.

I remember being defiant and actually excited when we went to the 3rd division. I had bought into all of Charles Green's soundbites. Especially the old "we're the only debt free club in Britian" line. Now I'm just absolutely deflated. Worst of all, I remember arguing with a fan of the dark side on a non-footballing forum about our then future. He predicted all of this shite Would be/might be Rangers men splitting the board and fans in two. The fans in turn splitting the club in two. Ally not being able to leave, for various reasons, even if he wanted to/it was for the best. This is a nightmare. Ally stepping aside and the possibility of a new manager with fresh ideas was the last bit of hope I had for our club.

Absolutely not. Ally has never been a great manager. But he has absolutely crashed as a manager right now. He should not be anywhere near the team.

Sadly we've had more than one bad attendance this season. We're not the best supported team in the UK anymore. We have real problems with our fans disappearing, for various reasons. Sad but true, man.
