Said before , the DoF is the route we should be taking . 
Hopefully gone are the days where a manager picks who he wants and if it doesn't work out we are left with wholesale changes like we've had for the last few years . It's been killing us . We need someone to recruit for Rangers and then a manager that can adapt to them with a few changes . 
As for MA , so far so good . I was impressed with the way he dealt after the Caxingha episode where he offered options depending on which way the board wanted to go . Ultimately we dodged a bullet when the board opted for McInnes . Now they've listened to him as far as SG is concerned , and despite my initial feelings , looks to be the best signing we've made in years . 
Player wise , on the whole it's been excellent . Depending on the figures publicised , we've spent about £8M and recouped over £3M , nearly half of what the tarriers have spent on one player , and yet here we are , with real expectations of a successful season  both in the league and in Europe . Who'd have thought that this time a few months ago ?

People may not take the likes of Adrian Durham to mean much but it’s a start. And with the English press giving SG more press coverage it’s going to get through I’ve no doubt. I listened to clyde the day at 6 and even keevens was starting to say we’re a better side in defence than them and although that’s nothing to do with what we’re talking about something completely different, it’s still relevant. Every wee change in narrative is massive in the long game. 

I know you’ve been away in Europe lately mate, not sure what you’ve come up against in terms of this behaviour, I’ve been away 37 times since mid 80s and it’s always gone on but even then without a biased media it went largely kept quite but what we didn’t get was distorted truths and blame laying at our doorstep. 
It must be challenged mate it’s unacceptable, it started this season with the ridiculous Wigan bollocks, the police ineptitude at Ibrox to let in Croatian ultras then blame us whilst admittedly saying it wasn’t high priority as they only brought 100 known hooligans. It’s open season mate, my last euro game was Lisbon away 2011, wasn’t badly policed in perspective but they had about 1000 cunts all the way from the square to the ground at least 6’5 and dressed like robo cop. No cunt was getting near us to start a go so it ended well. 
Thats all you ask, we go in huge numbers always do, nothing kicks off unless the locals come the cunt, then it’s always going to happen.

We've all doubted DK since he took the reigns, but how many of us have taken charge of a football club that (lets face it) was in deep shit? To think he was just going to pump millions in and make everything great again is the stuff of fantasy. I bought in to the "Dodgy Dave" stuff as well, but I'm happy to hold my hands up and admit I was wrong. He's proved me wrong thus far and I'm happy for him to prove me more wrong in the future. If we win 55 next year, he'll be the greatest thing since sliced bread. If we don't, DK,SG, GMc and everyone else will get told to do one and get replaced by more failures.
We have a new beginning here, one that we can all buy in to and get excited about. I know, we've been there before blah blah blah. What is the alternative? Just write it off because it's DK? Then what? If Stevie G and his team are convinced, then that is good enough for me. If anything, it shows ambition and that is what we are all about. Yes, time will tell, but I'm right behind it. We have got a football legend in charge, a true winner, and he has got an amazing team round about him. They know what it takes to win games and they will expect nothing less. 
So. in my opinion regarding DK, lets judge him and the rest of the board after Stevie G's first season. If it's a successful one, there will be lots of egg on lots of faces.
