It really is important that we have a Rangers 2 team in the lower leagues permanently. They would still bring in bigger crowds than most div3 teams. Also it would be a good way to train future managers. Like Barca did with Pep. I wonder if Ally would have got the job if we had this kind of set up?

The thing I don't understand is McCoist was part of the best front 2 I have ever seen, and a quality finisher. Durrant was a dynamic midfielder, surging runs through balls. McKay is dangerous and if he has a quiet game he's usually heavilly marked. So if McKay has a quiet game it means there is more space for others.
