Yes I'll be renewing. But this reminds me of a conversation I had with my mate; he supports partick thistle and tottenham. Basically he said that he can pay £25 and go and watch Tottenham field 11 internationals and play some glorious footie infront of a packed house. Or he could pay £17 and watch a bunch of lads hoof it about for 90 mins in a deserted stand in the pissing rain. needless to say he's seen tottenham around 7 times this year and only been to maryhill once (and he lives in Glasgow) Unfortunately I don't have the luxury of supporting 2 teams, and don't ever see that changing. However I do know a lot of NI boys who support both Rangers and an English team. I hope that our current boring route one disaster doesn't put them off.

The terrible defence IMO is what drags us down. Our midfield are scared to push up and be creative cause they are terrified to be caught out of position and leave the opposition a run at our rocky back line. But that's just one of the many problems.

If he does decide to stay, he has future captain written all over him.

We beat Alloa 7-0 and they won the 3rd division last year. We beat Motherwell who are in the SPL. Clearly the players have the quality to play better. But Ally seems unable to motivate them to do it. If we as a fan base start to accept mediocre results and terrible football it will have serious impact going forward.

I think Ian black plays every game because it's in his contract that he must play if fit. I used to think surely players wouldn't get a contract with such a clause, but after months of watching him play shit I actually genuinely belIeve this now.

Don't say that mate. Ally didn't do walking away and neither should any fan. It's a shame that Ally isn't cut out for the job. Id love nothing more than for him to change the philosophy and get the lads playing great stuff. But simply he can't do it. Even against part timers and with a multimillion pound training facility he can't install a good looking passing game. Devastating stuff, but I'll still renew for next year - then now forever.

Surely we have a kid who would Benifit from first team experience. And play for the jersey.... Young Walsh for example. The fact Black keeps playing makes me concerned that he has a clause in his contract that means he must play if fit.
