This despicable decision comparing the two sets of supporters as having equal blame on the day of the cup final is preposterous. We all know the Compliance Officer's football leanings, so this disgraceful finding has got to be challenged by our Board. However, given their previous reluctance to involve themselves in supporter related matters, I find myself unsurprised at the ,so far, inaction of said Board, to firstly, defend the attacks on our players and staff, by out of control Hivs support and then, a lack of action in defending the support against the Record and Police Scotland's lies in respect to events outside of Hampden, defies belief. The effect of all of the above has only emboldened all of our haters, given them further belief that more attacks will be met with inaction from our dynamic Board. Unless this Board start to prove they will be pro-active in fighting the haters, detractors and outright liars, the only assumption we can take from this is, "Cheers for the season ticket money and the 50,000 support every other week, but you're on your fucking own when it comes to fighting the SFA, Daily Record, Police Scotland and the BBC".

Look mate, the amount of slack passes and shit defending allied to a (mostly) lacklustre performance from most of our team in the first half deserved the booing they got from the fans who were rightly pissed off at the display they had endured in the first 45.

I repeat, I've seen crap first half performances in every decade I've been supporting, booed. Booing at half time lets poor performing players know that they have to up their game in the second half, and on many occassions that message gets through to the players (I am sure that the HT talk by the manager helps too). I believe that you are off at a tangent in bringing any Rangers v Sellik game into this thread as I've NEVER heard any booing at them as the players are fully pumped up for this game so the situation NEVER arises.

This would seem to fly in the face of "presumed innocent until proven guilty", if the club are issuing life bans on the "evidence" of still or moving images on the day of the final. My fear would be that in light of these bans that if, in future, anyone seeing any personal attacks on Rangers players, staff or supporters would ignore such thuggery and turn away, leaving the victim to any serious harm inflicted upon them. My son and I took the grandson to the last game of the season aged 2 and a few months. He loved the atmosphere, got the pics with Broxi and sat with us no probs for about an hour, he then gave up and we were taking it in shifts to the bathroom and wanders around under the East enclosure. All in all he had a great time, in the club prior, then on the bus over and the first hour. He still remembers the noise, the singing and the jumping at the goals.
