Well done and great work to those who highlighted these matters (PZJ and others on McMurdos blog , D'Artagnan , VB etc)
I would urge every Bear to send emails to the relevant authorities / politicians regarding their cheap loans and land deals.
I would also suggest contacting Radio Clyde, Radio Scotland and the newspapers to express our concerns and keep the pressure on.
These organisations turn my stomach but the media can influence public opinion.
This may come to nothing and everything could be above board (no laughing) but at least we tried.
Just think about the poor Council tax payers in Glasgow, financial doping and....sporting integrity !!
Surely apathy, dignified silence and doing nothing are not options.
They tried to kill our club so never forgive and never forget.

Don't necessarily need anyone to vouch for you mate, go down your local hall if your interested.
They'll ask you a few questions to see if your joining for the right reasons and judge you on that

Dear,oh dear, oh dear. After reading through this thread, I now have a headache.
The thread started about what appeared in the Sun newspaper, then degenerated into argument and counter argument about the Team, the Training Staff, the Board and many other off topic issues.
We all know that what we read in newspapers is yesterday's news, but in this case, it is yesteryears news. Once again, many bears have fallen for regurgitated news. I suggest these many bears cut and paste all these press stories for future reference as this will show it is the same stories reprinted again and again.
The only true fact in a newspaper is the date at the top of the page.

Actually nevermind....I don't want tangled up in this discussion. If you all really need to needlessly squabble then might I suggest a good old fashioned fisty cuff to get this masculinity thing out of your systems.
If some of you don't want to buy the book then don't buy the book and leave it at that. For those of you that do, then well done.
I am intrigued by it and WILL buy it once I have finished reading The Gallant Pioneers (great book so far). I am happy the author proceeds are going to RCF. That is good enough for me, even if it isn't for others.
There are a lot of groups doing things for the good of our charity. It shouldn't matter a jot WHO contributes. The fact some of us do, SHOULD matter.

By my reckoning we've got rid of 4 players replaced them with 7 and managed to reduce the wage bill further. To reduce the wage bill to a third of what it allegedly stands at would require a massive overhaul of the playing staff and a massive reduction in the 'quality' of players.

I am convinced our old pals act at Ibrox is taking us in to big trouble with finances.

Love how people who give up their time and efforts for free get criticised by a small but vocal minority.
Have never listened to the show. But criticism like that to people who give up their time to give the gers family somewhere to talk seems pretty OTT.
