Happy Birthday. Rangers Legend, wish some of those on here could appreciate what Ally has gone through this year and how he continues to fight for the love of our club.

Loads down my neck of the woods up for this (Lancashire), many part time Gers, so sure we will sell out whatever we get.
-
Amazing, and a genuine 45000 unlike a crowd figure at a recent game elsewhere in Glasgow. Next up at home in the League Queens Park, The Glasgow Derby. Let's make sure this is a 51000 crowd.
-
Anyone seen any of the coverage on TV? Is the whole ground this empty? Shambolic if it is. Anyway 45000 at Ibrox today.

Just had a look at the online ticket sales, reckon we are looking at 46/47000 or higher if there is a late rush. -

Another wee dig from Celtic and Aberdeen
andyhrfc replied to bigj9659's topic in Jimmy Bell's Kitroom
Would love to log on here and see absolutely no reference to either of these teams, how much would that annoy them knowing that we don't acnkowlege them. As they say, love me or hate me but don't ignore me. -
Probably not, EFC didn't play it last night, suggest we play Poor Scouser Tommy, belting song about fighting for your country to the tune of The Sash at the end, that should be apprecitated.

Class response from the Club for tonight's game. Liverpool did a 40th anniversary tribute for Ibrox. I believe the youngest victim was from Liverpool. There is usually something every year with a half red / half blue flag.
-
Superb from EFC and representative of general feelings in the city. Out of interest anyone remember the response from Celtic fans within Glasgow after the Ibrox Disaster?

Do you feel a connection with Liverpool at times like this?

Will try and find it for you, have a look on RAWK, but you are more than welcome to come to my local ( I live near Liverpool) and most support Rangers. The only Celtic affiliation comes from the ROI LFC fans. -

A survey was conducted last year entitiled "Which Old Firm Team do you prefer?", results 55% Rangers, 25% Celtic, 20% neither, hope that answers your question? -

Suspect most of the heartless bastards are Tim imposters forever pissed off that now matter how hard they try to suck up to Liverpool they are always rebuffed. If they are Bears then they need to get a reality check quickly. -
With a week to go will put my money on 27000

Your kid supporting someone else

My 11 yr old is a Ger even though we live near Liverpool, he was singing a certain banned song loudly in the garden earlier. -
United, pure scum, along with Septic, RFC / LFC forever.

In 1980 I attended the FA Cup Semi Final at Hillsborough between Liverpool and Arsenal. I stood right behind the goal as a young teenager and got pinned onto a barrier. I managed to raise myself up so my hips were on the bar. My skin was torn badly on both sides with extensive bruising but nothing worse. In 1989 I had two tickets for the Leppings Lane End. I attended the match with my girlfriend who was only 5ft 1ins. I told her we would try and swap the tickets because of my previous experience on that terrace. We eventually swapped at 2.45 and got two stand tickets. I have no idea who took our tickets or what happened to them. Sometimes you have to take a good look at yourself and realise how lucky you are. I knew one person who died, only 17yrs old. It was Liverpool but could easily have been another team at the same ground or elsewhere. Anyone want any further information about this match or Heysel ( I was there too) please ask.

Same here mate, support both teams. Hate the blinkerdness of some Gers when it comes to YNWA, it makes me cringe when the Scum sing it or they pretend to have some allegiance to Liverpool, they conveniently forget the violence they caused in the 60's (before my time!) when they visited Anfield, plenty of older fans have never forgiven them. -

So why did the police allow the situation at the ground to become dangerous in the first place? Have you ever been to Hillsborough?
