Waste of money...so much for bringing through young players.

I'd suggest he's saying out loud what many people think. We have potential in our youth setup but instead of giving them a chance in the first team we bring in expensive duds and players we don't need.

Shocking if this happens! Mccoist has no plans for youth he is merely looking after himself and his pals.

Tonight proved that a mix of young players and a few seasoned pros would have comfortably taken us back up to the top flight without spending the kind of money we have done. We have just beaten essentially an spfl team with our u20 squad and yet ally thinks to win the championship we need more over paid spl players with little or no sell on value. unless he goes and or Wallace stands up to him these young guys like teller will be off to teams who actually develop and play youth.

Boyd as long as his wages are not ridiculous, that would be it. We need to look forward to youth/up and coming talent, can't keep bringing in guys over 30 just because they may have played for us. The sellik dare I say have the right policy. Bring in young unknowns and sell them for millions, only way to survive and compete.

Another old timer on wasted wages! As other have said what is the point in Murray Park?? We have our u20 side on the verge of winning the league yet none of that team have been given a chance bar giving Gallagher a few minutes here and there, Telfer, Gasparotto, Hardie, will all be off to other clubs and wiill no doubt make a name for themselves, while we will be left with a team of 30+ pros on stupid wages with no future.

People go on about terrible youngsters but are folk forgetting our u20s team are 3rd in their league with games in hand on the green bros. Surely we could try some of these guys as subs?

If mccoist wants to keep his job be has to go for it. Change it to 2 up for second half...take peralta and shiels off for galagher on the wing and Clark up top along side daly. Black and law in the middle. When we have passed it on the deck we have been dangerous. Come on mccoist earn your corn!

Ally needs to give daly support. To be fair to him he has been wining knockdown but without a second striker to run on to its pointless. bring on Clark to play along side him...We have to go for it!

I would give him a shot, has a great track record minus a blip at Bristol City. Our squad is not as bad as it's made out, we have mainly ex spl players who were stand outs for their teams. We have flair in Law, Templeton. Clark and Day if played together up front would in my opinion bang the goals in. But ally does not have a clue how to set a team up. Struggling and playing punt ball against part timers proves this.

Are Watford part time? Do they train twice a week? Are their players paid expenses/peanuts while working a full time job? No. Therefore you can't compare results as we are playing part timers while man city are playing a full time team one league down from the premiership with players on 10k+ a week.

spoiled brats!? I don't see how having the 2nd largest wage bill in Scottish football and therefore expecting a decent level of football/comfortably beating part timers is being spoilt.

who has said they "hate" Ally or Rangers? Just because paying fans disagree with how the club is being run both on and off the pitch doesn't mean they "hate" something or someone. Talk about prima Donna!

I could understand this view point if, A. We were travelling miles for a league game/European game. B. We were playing professional teams. C. We were balancing the books and financial sound. I would suggest none of the above applies to our current situation. A 2 hour bus trip to play a part time team means we have to get the players a hotel...no wonder we are hemoraging money.

Hardly a minor cost putting a group of 20+ folk into a fancy hotel for the night, particularly when our current monthly expenditure is greater than our income. Every penny counts!

We have Clark,Jig,Daly,Little plus young Stoney and Gallagher who has been doing well for u20s. Why then would we need a past hs best less mobile 33 year old striker on big wages? No wonder we are running out of money.

In my opinion the quality of player we have is as good if not better than most spl teams. We are playing with internationals/experienced spl players in one of the lowest leagues in football. We should comfortably have enough to win while giving at least some entertainment/decent football for the paying fan. At the moment we are winning ugly against part time teams...surely with our budget/players it should be expected that we win every game comfortably, not holding on/struggling to string 2 passes together against effectively amateur teams.

Never really fought anyone of note and when he arguably came up against his toughest opponents(Holyfield and Lewis) he was comfortably Beaten. As much as they bore me either klit would have knocked him out. He was entertaining, good but not great in my opinion.

well...we should be! Have our standards dropped that low. We are playing in the 2nd bottom tier against part timers with an SPL team, winning every week should be a must.

Inverness last season...A team who can pass the ball and have an idea of how to attack. We have a better squad than they do but I fear the same thing would happen again if we met them this season.

fans have the right to be pissed off if they want. Yes we reached the part time teams cup final but look at our squad/cost compared to the opposition, we should be winning this cup without breaking sweat/playing some decent football!
