  1. Worked with a guy years ago when we were late teens/early twenties. A squad of us used to leave work Sat lunch time and head to Ibrox for home games, this guy included, scarf on, Union Jack round his shoulders, the lot. Fast forward a few years and a mate and I meet him in a snooker hall, he's wearing a scum training jacket. Says that as his boy is playing for scum boys club he's now one of them. You can imagine where we told him to go. Then last season I spot him leaving Ibrox after a game! And again the other week following the Walk at Duke Street. Unbelievable!
  2. Sorry lads couldny resist after some of yer helpful comments last week. Everything sorted to everybody's satisfaction thanks to Susan Hannah in the TO.
  3. Wee update for anybody interested. Turned out the old guy had been in hospital following a stroke and forgot to renew. Anyway the good news is TO say I get to keep the seat and he can have the inferior one offered to me. Only downside is I get to sit between his brother and his nephew, but if they don't like it they can always move next season.
  4. Having applied for a transfer from GR to MSF when I renewed my St I was happy yesterday to be offered an acceptable seat. I replied to the email from TO accepting the offer and authorised payment for the difference. Today I have had another email from TO stating that the person who previously had the seat has now renewed LATE but because he had "a genuine reason" and had the seat for 20 years they are allowing him to keep it and withdrawing the offer to myself. They have offered me an inferior seat and are refusing to budge. So what is the point in a renewal deadline?
  5. Thanks for that Govanblue, just took your advice and it shows I've been shifted to the area I wanted despite no contact from the TC yet.
  6. GS just gone way up in my estimation. Spoken like a REAL Rangers man.
  7. We should be looking much further than ex players imo. Especially now,
  8. RANGERS boss would love to test his mettle in the Premiership but he won’t leave Glasgow until he has led Gers back into the SPL and Champions League. Via: (DailyRecord 21 Dec 2012)
  9. Killing us single handedly. I'm frightened to think how bad this will get before we're rid of him.
  10. I think this shows a lot of people have been pissed off by what we've seen on the park the last two seasons. If those not buying season tickets because of the board are true to their word and were all there today anyway, then that's an awful lot missing for some other reason. At the start of the journey back I would have expected people to have been excited about this final phase, but all the enthusiasm has disappeared. For me that's down to what we've been watching.
  11. So basically we're not working hard enough, not getting tackles in,poor in the final third, not creating enough chances and missing those we do.We're not getting enough out of our players and they are less fit than our opponents, our defence can't deal with opponents with pace,we get bullied and we lack pace going forward. And it has taken us 2 seasons and how many millions to get to this standard.Pretty damning.
  12. If he's allowed to remain this season is gonna be a disaster. It doesn't bear thinking about that we don't win this league but I can't see him achieving it.
  13. I'm in Govan Rear GR7. The past 2 seasons it has been cheaper to pay per game rather than by a ST. I have contacted Ibrox twice to ask the reason why and each time have not even had the courtesy of a reply. I may well just choose my games and pay as I go next season.
  14. I've been going to Ibrox since '68 but I won't be back next season if McCoist is still there. I too suffered the mhanks 9IAR, the Greig era and the period immediately before the Souness era but kept following. The football under him is bad enough but what scunnered me was reading the allegations about him wanting his salary hidden from the fans and the reason he gave his support to Green. Had he come out and contradicted these allegations I would have given him the benefit of the doubt but if he has done so then I've missed it. Loyalty is one thing, being taken for a mug is another.
  15. Found this on the SEPA website. "Local authorities are required to give notice of land identified as contaminated (or designated as a special site) to: SEPA; the owner of the land; any person who appears to the local authority to be in occupation of the whole or any part of the land; and each person who appears to the authority to be an appropriate person. The notifications of contaminated land are required to be placed on the public register. There is no mechanism for Appropriate Persons to appeal against a local authority's decision that land is contaminated or a special site."
  16. Having been to the majority of home games I can honestly say I don't recall his religion or race being mentioned by anyone around me.
  17. "Despite the wishes of the majority of Rangers fans"? How do you know what the majority of Rangers fans wish. I was at the game when the red card protest took place. At least as many refused to take part as actually did,so far as I could see. It's the wishes of the mhedia and a few fans reps who represent a minority your spouting.
  18. Not only can I not stand to watch our games when the traitors were here, but I don't enjoy MOTD any more. If it's not one or other of that lot playing then it's some mhank managing.
  19. Paul Lambert's father. I knew his father from work and remember seeing him coming out of The Rangers end at Hampden after an OF game.Lambert was their captain that night.
  20. Still using Lloyds? Your kidding, right?
