  1. Merry Christmas to all, hopefully we'll bring in the new year the best way possible! Have a fun and safe day wherever you are, and whatever your faith or beliefs, or there lack of!
  2. I've made my point about Garner on many different threads, needs goals and needs them soon, works like a horse, but your starting striker needs goals. As many have said, needs a parter big time. Ball comes into him, he wins the header goes into the path of say Waghorn, he misses the shot, there's Garner running in behind to pick up the loose ends. 4-4-2 is needed, or some sort of 2 up front, like I said previously, it's painfully obvious. I like Garner, but if you insist on playing him on his own up front with no one around him then you might aswell get rid of him or play Clint Hill there cause the results will be the same. Win some headers and score a few.
  3. Also, why have we had 4 keeper kits this season? Nae need for the hideous neon green pish
  4. Fuck it get a song for big Wes into the top 40 for new year
  5. The fact for me is, they came away with the 3 points. A month ago that would've been 1 point or maybe even nothing, so I'm happy that they managed to secure the 3 points, and am convinced that a corner has been turned. That said, wouldn't play McKay against St Johnston, or Tavernier in midfield. Don't think he played a forward pass all game, they were few and far between anyways. Big performance required next weekend, and the players know that, but Garner need to start finding the back of the net pronto, as I've said in a few threads, the 100% commitment is outstanding but needs that goal tally to start going up. I'm far more confident this time around than I was for the first 2 old firm games. So chin up lads, 4 wins from 4 this month so far
  6. Absolutely buzzing for this game. All I want for Xmas is for Garner to score 1 or 2 today. Atmosphere is gonna be electric and that would send it through the roof ... But seriously, pick up from where we left off, solid performance intae them right from the start and get a good few goals. We're braving the weather to sell out the stadium at lunch time on Xmas eve, same dedication from the players today! Hoping that Garner will thrive on the expected atmosphere, today's the perfect day to send the fans home happy. 3-0 to the blue bells.
  7. Aye I saw someone saying this in a post on twitter will see if I can find it.
  8. Needs to sell tremendously well in the next 11 hours or so to have a chance. Still canny belive the club has endorsed it now aswell lol Great sort of story for this time of the year. Hope Garner takes this as a massive sign of the support and backing he has from us and starts finding the back of the net. That on top of his 100% do or die performances could make him a hero here for years.
  9. If glad all over isn't the song they use for Garner when he scores at Ibrox now then that could be the crime of the century.
  10. This the same team that brought less supporters to Ibrox in August than some of the teams in the lower divisions that we played? Canny quite belive that. Think they had about 200 people there that day, and that's not being sarcastic.
  11. I believe we would have went through the right avenues myself, would hate to think of that kind of thing being covered up. That's what separates us from the fucking filth across the city. Fucking vile vermin. Morals and a sense of decency.
  12. As long as we didn't cover anything up, reported any wrong doings or suspicions to the police, and didn't do anything to further hurt the victims then I see no problem with any investigations. If we have been seen to cover anything up then I'll need to take a long hard look at the situation and see where I stand after that. However I cant see that being the case as up until now we have reported any suspicions to the relative authorities, as any decent minded human beings would do.
  13. Imagine waking up and knowing that is your club, and being proud of it. How anyone could allow their kids to support that fucking mob is beyond me. Well seeing the dirty bastard only came forward to clear his own mind. Should be fucking shot in the street. Beasts in sport, entertainment, politics, region, about time we started hanging them to make an example. But naw, we'd lose about half the population it seems these days.
  14. I'll wait till after the Hearts game till I see if they have finally learned the standard that's required. Every single time we think that we've turned the corner or that we can kick-start our season with a result we end up going back two steps. Hopefully with this run of home games we can finally capitalise.
  15. Aye let's bring in Senderos. A guy, who when the last time things got tough, purposely got himself sent off. No chance.
  16. Has to be the most underutilised and frustrated player we have. Every single time Wes had the ball and was looking for someone, Garner was there asking for it played either to him or in behind the defence. Whenever someone in midfield takes a second to stop and look up to who they can pass to, Garner is just starting a run or asking for it on his head or at his feet. I don't know why they don't give him the ball more often, especially the keeper. The lob in the game today that went wide tells me everything I need to know about Garner. Totally fearless. Willing to try anything. Just isn't getting the right service for whatever reason. For me he plays best with O'Halloran on the right, we just need a starting left winger who is willing to actually drive with the ball and put it into the box, that said I thought McKay had one of his better games today but he wouldn't be my starting left winger. Obviously I'd prefer it if he was part of a striking partnership up top, but with Warburton in charge I'll just keep wishing.
  17. I'll be there supporting the team same as every week, dying with the flu right enough but would take a lot more than that to stop me getting to this game. Would love a solid dominating performance and 2/3-0 win but would also take another last minute 1-0 if that's what it takes to beat these sheep shagging bastards! 25 years of dominance can't go down the drain. They are not better than us. They got lucky at home, now it's our turn. Hopefully we won't need luck, but if the ref wants to give a dodgy penalty or let that offside goal count then who am I to complain!
  18. He's had chance after chance to supposedly learn from his mistakes, yet continues to make the same mistakes. For that reason, I'm out.
  19. Been done with him since the Aberdeen game. He's utterly clueless. now we need to wait until after janurary before we can even think about sacking him. Trial by fire to throw a new manager into that run of 6 games in December. Never thought I'd turn on Warburton the way I have, but ever since ... March last year? there have been no signs of improvement. If we're serious about challenging for 2nd we need a massive change. I like Dodoo and Garner, but they are never lone strikers. Desperately need are partner up front and he won't give it to them. It's painfully obvious. Sad day.
  20. Red Bull Rangers? No chance, if they came in it would be Red Bull Glasgow, they care about cities not clubs. Just a Base to build a franchise that they can tweak and change to their liking. Would never happen
  21. Until Wednesday and Saturday I never noticed just how much Waghorn slows down the game. He came on both games and I don't think he played the right pass once, gave the ball away too much and took far too much time to get it to a team mate. Don't get me wrong, I was right behind him last season but the step up in league seems to have effected him. I do belive that he would function better as part of a strike partnership with Garner, but that would involve changing the formation and that's a whole different headache!
  22. I'd say that should be his starting 11 for the rest of the year, no one put a foot wrong on Saturday until the subs came on and had a few stray passes, but the starting 11 was solid. In January we obviously need 2 new center halfs, but aside from that I'd like to see a few of the players keep their starting jerseys, mostly Garner if he can keep up this scoring run, and with some service like we seen on saturday he can definitely do that, and MoH if he can convince Warburton that he is the man that needs to be starting every game, him and Garner could create quite the partnership. Aside from that I think the players we have should be enough to easily take second and maybe even challenge for top. It's only 9 points, that's 3 bad games for them, we just need to be there and ready to make the most of any opportunities.
