When we press them we are so much better but Holt is one if the biggest culprits for not doing that. We should be going in 0-0 but as usual pish defensively (from the middle of the park).

As our defence is weak to say the least we have to press them back middle to front like we have been doing last couple of games. Attack is the best form of defence. If we invite them on to us by losing the midfield battle we could get a hiding but if we play pressing football from the middle up who knows......

Murty desrves credit because from middle to front in the last couple of games we seem to moving the ball quicker, pressurising opponents and firing in the shots. And would you believe it that can result in goals!

It was obvious we were going backwards with Warburton and we had to get someone else in. We tried him and he came up short. if we can believe what we're being told his actions (or his agents actions) have spectacularly backfired on him. I think the board have played it well imo.

DeBoer sounds a great shout and I realise he would possibly be unaffordable but for those in the know what has he done managerally speaking? Great player yes but has/can his winning mentality extend to the dugout?

It seems so long ago now but under Warburton we did in fact at one time use to move the ball quickly and could punish times with some slick passing that was effective and entertaining to watch. This style seemed to evaporate though after we put them to the sword in the semi-final. Why should this be? Surely this can only be down to the manager's instructions? Even if we are playing more "European battle-hardened teams like Aberdeen and Hearts"......jeez what a load of crap.

Of course MW is a thoroughly decent man but the way he was talking there you'd think we'd lost by only 2 goals not the 4-1 going on 5 or 6. Why dress it up Mark? He looks a bit rattled and hopefully this will result in a toe up the arse that many of our players need although that I know doesn't help his own tactical naivety.

Warburton looked totally lost in post match interview. He couldnt explain what happened just blaming it on the loss of 2 cheap goals. He just cant seem to see how pish certain players are. Out of his depth and the signs have been there since last season.

"We'll pick ourseleves up, dust ourselves down and we move on to the next game". Bet he says that.
