  1. Whenever we get a really good youth player coming through, he gets whisked away by some top EPL team, offering him more money now, than we could in the future. We'll only see some decent players come through, as late bloomer's. For the amount of money we've put into it, we've got a poor return. I'm not saying that we should forget all about our youth teams, more find a better way of brinigng players through the system. I think that there should be a 'Colts League' for Premiership teams, and it should be a part of our league structure. A League 3 perhaps? The Colts teams can get promoted, and relegated, the same asked any other team, but they can't enter the Premiership, or cup games where the first team is involved. There would probably be bigger crowds at these games than there are at League 1, &, 2, games now. I'd never think of going to watch a Ross Co v Forfar game, if County were relegated, and I lived in Dingwall. However I would definitely think about going, if Rangers Colts were involved. This could also help the Scottish national team with players being involved in competitive games earlier, bringing them on quicker, although I'm not all that fussed about the national team, it's a selling point to the SFA. We need to do something different. More of the same old, same old, isn't working. We have had the best chance we'll ever have of bringing young players through, the past five years, yet all we've had is Lewis McLeod, and Barrie McKay.
  2. He's looking a bit off colour, is he not?
  3. Our player, Jack, may have been cleared. However, that sending off still might have cost us 3 points. They can't do nothing about that though can they? Maybe if a player is found to be, incorrectly sent off, and his team lose, the game could be played again from the point when the player got red carded. They would continue at the same score it was when the red card occurred. It might make officials think twice before issuing a red card. Other countries have such a system in play, if a game is ABANDONED. They restart the game from the exact time it was stopped for whatever reason, usually weather related, or floodlight failure. This is a system we should be following. If a game is abandoned at half time and the away team is up 0-2, it is grossly unfair that the game gets restarted from the beginning again. Under current regulations, if a player picks up a yellow card, it still counts against him, even though the game has been voided. These rules should be looked at by FIFA, and the same rules should apply every where. PS If a game is abandoned because of players fighting with each other, a rule could be set aside for that.
  4. Yeah I was there. I think the ref looked nearly every player that game. ??
  5. You'd think with your team strolling through Scottish football just now, that the taigs would be happy? But NO!! They won't be happy until they get awarded titles stripped from Rangers. Is that what they really want? They couldn't do it on the pitch, so they want to do it any other way they can. If the roles were reversed here, I would NEVER accept winning titles in that way. They hate us more than they love their own club. There's nothing you can do with people like that, without the use of a gun. I'd be embarrassed if our support acted in that manner. I wonder how they'll take us winning title 55? They'll probably claim that it's either our 1st title, or that it's our 48th, because they've decided not to count the titles they believe we should be stripped of...??
  6. I was just about to post the exact same thing regarding Beaton. I remember a time when referees were not permitted to officiate a game involving the team they support. I certainly don't think that Willie Collum should be refereeing Rangers v Celtic games, or any games involving both teams.
  7. I was wondering who the fuck Patrick was, and what penalty? Then realised you meant Patrick Thistle, and not some plastic paddy diving to win a penalty. They would've just went up the other end and scored anyway, or the ref would've ordered the penalty to be retaken, again, and again, until Patrick Thistle missed. We may still have been Beaten off Hibs, last Saturday, if we had finished with 11 men on the park. We are just not good enough just now, and that breaks my heart. I can't watch Celtic games, because I hate seeing them bastards win. Unless something catastrophic happens, they're in the CL group stages again. Hopefully they'll be drawn with Real Madrid, and get roasted 7 or 8-0. At least I could be happy for a while, and actually read that thread, in the General Sports Section, and actually LAUGH AT THEM!!???? We need to get that winning mentality back. Can Pedro do it? I hope so, I like him, but if he's still not up for the job, by the end of the year, and there are no signs that we are getting there, then he'll need to go.
  8. The ROD the op thinks Pedro's making for his back wouldn't be a fishing rod would it? Nah! Can't be, Mister C would never sneak that low, would he??? ???
  9. It'll be just over exuberance from Lennon. Hibs fans are known for their exuberance, and it's catching.??
  10. I don't know whether to laugh or cry at that. I was trying to forget all the shit we've been through, put it to the very back of my mind, never to be looked into again. I'll need to make an appointment with my shrink, first thing in the morning. All those horrible memories have come flooding back. Alloa fucking Athletic?
  11. We need to be a bit more mindful about our defence when on the attack. Someone has to drop back a bit to cover the full backs, or the full backs should allow the midfield wide men to get to the bye line to put crosses in. The amount of times we've been hit on the break when one, or both, of our full backs have been rampaging forward, and nobody has bothered to drop back to cover, is costing us points now. I thought that McKay was starting to track back, to cover for Wallace, towards the end of last season, when he played. It did dull his forward play a bit though. Having both wide midfielder, and full back, up the pitch at the same time, can make it too crowded, they get in each others way at times. We need a run of good results, a settled side, with competition for each position, and we need to start this Saturday with a victory over Hearts. I was going to say I don't know what is more important, for the next game, 3 points, or a good performance? We are Rangers! We expect both! We demand both! We Are The People!!!!
  12. Thank goodness I'm not the only thinking this. Mods, or admin. (What is the difference between the two?) Should step in to change the title. It makes the site look amateurish, and childish.
  13. I wonder if Pedro knew, exactly, what he was signing up for when he accepted the job? It can be the greatest job in the world, when we're winning, but, after a defeat? The next match can't come quick enough to get the taste of defeat out of your mouth. We need to slap Hearts down, they're getting too big for their boots. We can't have these cunts coming into our house thinking they can walk away with the points. It looks like every game is going to be a battle for us this season, I just hope our players have got what it takes to handle it. We need a settled team. We've had, nearly, a new team each season lately, we can't afford to carry on like that. We've also been through a few managers as well. We need a decent run of results to settle ourselves, and we need to start this Saturday against Hearts. So come on Rangers! Show us what you've got! Show the world what you're made of! Slap these provincial clubs back down, and put them back in their place. This is Rangers! We Are The People!!!!
  14. You think that bad people never get their comeuppance? I was a shit, in my youth, I can't now walk a step without pain. I hardly ever get out, but maybe this is my bad karma? I don't know, shit happens, good and bad, some people call it Karma. Maybe it's just luck? Right place, right time, or wrong place, wrong time? Whatever it is, please, give it a rest!??
  15. Karma may well not exist, however after living nearly 60 years on this planet, I firmly believe that what goes around, comes around. You shit on someone, and eventually, someone will shit on you. Is it Karma? I don't know, but it does happen...
  16. If there were decent judges in our court system, he wouldn't have been able to do that from his prison cell. Another early morning wake up call needed for this cunt.
  17. Can we have a new rule that only adults are allowed to start ******Official ****** threads? Jam farts? Is the OP still in primary school ffs? Get these threads titled properly, it makes us all look like a bunch of primary school kids. BTW An apology to most primary school kids, because you'd never have started a thread with a title like that.
  18. I must be getting really old. My old eyes told me that Stokes was the aggressor, and he moved his head towards Jacks head, before grabbing him by the throat. Maybe I'm looking through my blue glasses, and Jack jumped up, and stuck the head on Stokes? The only way they could've been head to head, was if Stokes moved his head downward toward Jacks, since Stokes is a couple of inches bigger than Jack. IMHO!!!
  19. I said that there is nothing really wrong with him, just not the player for these games. Some players need protecting, and I'd rather Rossiter than Windass, especially yesterday when Jack got sent off. We should've taken either, Miller, or Windass, off and brought Rossiter on right away.
  20. My thoughts exactly! Way too lightweight.
  21. Windass is too lightweight for these type of games. We need someone not scared to put their boot into a tackle for certain games, and this was one of them. Games against the taigs, sheep, diet taigs, and maybe Hearts, we'll need to leave Windass on the bench. No passengers required for these games. I'd still keep him as a squad player, he might show up well in European games, if we ever get any again. LOL? ( Too soon?)
  22. If Pedro had "WENT FOR IT" like a few on here are suggesting it could've been a whole lot worse. We might've been moaning about another 1-5 defeat to the diet taigs this time. That would've sunk Pedro! I know we should be beating scum like Hibs, but the sending off had a big effect on the game. The first 20 minutes we were really good, and could've, and should've, been leading by more than 1-0. The ref spoiled that game for us. I hope the club are appealing that red card, shocking decision. I fucking hate it that these cunts are getting away with shite like this, but we have to remain patient with Pedro. I don't know if he is the man to take us forward, and stop their 9 in a row, but we need to give him the chance to prove himself. There are some positive signs that we are getting there, it might just take a wee bit longer than some of us want, myself included. We can't keep sacking managers after every bad result. Our club has been raped, looted, and shat on, by everyone the past 5 years. We're still in a delicate place, no longer on life support, but we can't afford to be paying off managers every year, never mind every few months. Last season we had some disasters playing in blue. Pedro has weeded them out. I'm still not convinced with Windass, he's alright in games against Dunfermline, Motherwell, and wee teams like that. When we know there's going to be a real tough, hard fought, not pretty game, like yesterday, Windass is a passenger. I remember when Sir Walter was in charge, and matches against the taigs, he always started players like Jig in midfield, because that type of player was needed in rough, tough, games. We need to get behind Pedro and the players, yesterday was a bad result because of a shocking refereeing decision. 11v11, we could've won that game. The ref sent off our hardest working midfielder, and we missed his extra steel in midfield, to break up attacks, and stopping them from bossing us. I'm not saying Pedro is the answer to our prayers, but give him some time, then we can make our minds up, but some will never be happy..??
