  1. I've never lived in Glasgow, my father was from Glasgow, but he never had any interest in football. It was my brothers that had me supporting Rangers, apart from some results, I wouldn't change a thing....
  2. I got chucked out of a game at Hampden against the taigs. It was at half time in the North Terrace/Enclosure, and I managed to get a ticket off a guy outside and got back in. The 2nd half had already started, but my ticket was for the West Terrace, so I couldn't stand with my mates. We ended up getting beat, and I couldn't remember where the bus got parked, but bumped into the convenor on my road out, and just followed him. As folk were coming on, in dribs and drabs, they each informed Alan, the convenor, that I'd been arrested and needn't wait for me. Rotten bastards that they were. I had to make sure I was back for the bus early after that, just in case they went without me..??? I thought this was the bus thread halfway through, and not the get into games late thread. It's what is known as having a "Senior Moment".
  3. When I lived in Edinburgh in the late 1970's, and early 1980's, I used to get the Union Jack bus. There were always fewer on the bus coming from the game, than going to it.
  4. I have a new found respect for Boyd! Commons is a cunt!
  5. A few years back, someone set off a flare at the Millennium Stadium in Cardiff at a Welsh game. It hit someone in the eye, in the stand opposite. I don't know the distance involved, and can't remember if the guy died or not. I don't think the authorities were very pleased about this, or if the guy that fired the flare gun got caught.
  6. We chased them all over Hampden, all over Hampden. We chased them all over Hampden. The famous cup final from the 1980's when the taigs ran on the pitch to celebrate, and antagonised the Rangers support that much, that we had to sort them out.
  7. Calm the fuck down? We're just enjoying ourselves sonny boy. The Bears are having a party, you should feel honoured to be allowed in, to be a part of it. We weren't laughing with you, we were laughing at you, it's 'par' for the course at Ibrox. ( Did you see wot I did there?) The guy looks like the kind of arsehole who just goes to the games, so that he can do a VLOG about them. Once he loses interest in VLOGGING, he'll go back to watching his rugby.???
  8. We need a few more players like John Greig in the team. If we did, Broonaldo would still be on crutches from the first game. Rogic would only be on the park 5 minutes, instead of 60. Griffith's would be wrapped himself, round a goalpost, and not a scarf by the end of play.
  9. The good old days eh? I remember standing outside the pub in the 1960's, and early 1970's. It didn't bother me,but if you can't go to the game, with your kid, without a drink then there's something wrong with you. I put kids before booze every time and they're all grown up now. ?
  10. Is that him looking to get a part in The Walking Dead? He looks like he's just about to turn into a Walker....
  11. For parents/grandparents taking their youngsters to the match this is fantastic. It gives you a break for a wee while, and the kids get to have some fun. All my family are Rangers fans. My nephew's now taking his sons to the game now, and a new generation of Rangers fans are born. These activities help keep the kids entertained before the match, as kids get bored easily while waiting for the game to start. Keeping youngsters amused can be very exhausting, and letting someone else entertain them gives the adult a break.
  12. Yes! It also showed him getting booked for it as well. The amount of security there was ridiculous, he's a fucking player, wanting to celebrate a goal with his fans..
  13. Miller is earning his wage right now. I thought that he'd be rested tonight, but Pedro must have a lot of faith in him to be able to start both games. He never gives up, always trying when we've got the ball, or not. A Rangers legend? He answered the call when he was needed most. His time at the taigs doesn't help his cause, but he realised his mistake, and came home again, not once, but twice, and he's still scoring goals for us...?
  14. He's actually looking like the kind of player we thought he would be, when we signed him. If he keeps it up, he could be a big asset for Rangers, as a player, and as a target for the big spending EPL clubs.....
  15. Was looking for this about an hour ago. I then remembered I'd bought a years subscription to RTV, and watched the highlights there. ?? Still watched this video though.
  16. There should be rewards for any player that injures Stokes, and Whittaker. Maybe Club1872, or the RFFF, could put up the money. I'm not wanting any of our players to get into trouble, maybe win the ball, in a hard, but fair challenge, leaving both lying on the grass, crying for their mammies. ??
  17. Both free kicks got 10 out of 10 for me. Both did what they were aiming to do, score. I know it was only Dunfermline, but 6-0? We've been struggling to get a win against this level of opposition in the past. I'm absolutely delighted that we showed we could score from anywhere tonight. I hope that this is the start of something really good, and not just a flash in the pan...WATP!!
  18. This is something that really annoys me. Take the cup final against Hibs, they got 25,000 tickets, yet can barely get 10-12,000 at home each week. Rangers, on the other hand, have well in excess of 30,000 ST holders, yet get the exact same allocation? The ticketing for these major events should be rewarding fans who follow their team every week, not the glory hunters who only want tickets for the big events. They should be given tickets according to their average gate. If they average 10,000 per week, then that's what they get, unless the opposition gets about the same. The SFA,and SPFL, should send out a message that fans who turn up to all home matches will be rewarded with getting their cup final tickets 1st, well before the glory hunters. Season ticket holders, from both competing clubs, should get the opportunity to buy their tickets first, then they can split the remaining tickets 50/50, if there are any left. In games against the taigs it has to be 50-50 share, since both clubs want more than a 50% share, and some ST holders will miss out. Those who've supported the club in a cup run should get first offers of tickets, as long as they support the team every other week at Ibrox.
  19. Thanks for the updates mate, I enjoy reading them. If we get beat I tend to just check to see who scored for us. It looks as if the sheep goalie stopped us winning more comfortably. Keep up the good work.
  20. I don't think they can spell the word h-u-n, can they? They obviously couldn't spell bastards either, but knew the correct spelling of the word SCUM. Coincidence?
  21. As clear as mud in a puddle of pish?? Although I have to admit that, even I got exactly what you meant first time round, which doesn't happen very often. That is more my fault, most of the time, than anyone else's. I'm just so happy I got it right 1st time, and others didn't.??
  22. We should be giving these youngsters some proper game time, to see if they can handle it. If we were putting games to bed, earlier in the game, we could afford to bring these young guys on. Knowing our luck we'll have to blood them early, due to injuries to 1st team squad members, although that might no be a bad thing...?
