    Completely agree with this. Glad to see him performing. If he can do it consistently then I'll change my mind and agree he'd be a good squad player.

    We're not debating whether or not he's a supporter, or if you think I'm a supporter. 

     

    Andy Halliday is a die hard Rangers supporter. However, he is not a footballer of the standard we require and the fact he couldn't cut it at Gabala proves that. He hasn't looked a player since the Championship. I'd rather we signed a left back as a third choice left back. End of.

    Big man is outstanding. Can see what it means to him to be playing for a big club as well. All this talk about our players being sold on for big money etc. This is a player I'd love to see in the squad for years to come. He's only young but can read the game so well and will surely get better as time goes on.

    Also, he loves a slide tackle!

    Probably the player I most wanted to come in to the squad and cement himself as a first choice. Looked good in flashes last season but had a horrendous time with reds that never were and the injury.

    Glad he's proving he's more than capable of playing for us.

    I'm not. You started a thread about a player who I feel should be nowhere near the squad. He played for Gabala last season and was hopeless there as well. Tav last year was nowhere near as bad as Halliday ?. I'm not going to pretend he's good enough out of sympathy.

    I'm behind the team. But you can't escape the reality that he is pish and well below the standard required. Don't care if he managed to survive 90 minutes without a major fuck up, it doesn't somehow make him good enough.

     

    Was a good solid team performance and one they can all be proud of.
