I agree with a lot of your points except the first, the problem in current deployment is they both seem to be playing DM which cannot happen. We either get Jordan the fuck up the park and give options for the CB's to pass to CDM who can feed the CM's who will run into the support role for the forwards or we drop one of them. we cannot have no options for the CDM to get the ball and no fucker is free up front to accept a pass except a Hollywood diagonal which even if taken down has no support in the box! Jordan has a shot in him, can run around all day long and I think he would be great moving forward if he is going to be in the same team as Barton, otherwise get him on the bench just now or Joey, they cannot play together in the same role.

Joey is not a bad player, it is the present player setup we have just now which is slowing us down as the options up front are limited. Jordan and Joey cannot be playing the same role in a three man midfield so they have to be rotated with the DM (which they both are) covering the CB's when the wing backs go forward. The key is to have the forward midfielders moving into space for the DM to pick his pass and spread the ball to so that the game can press forward. Maybe the plan has been hampered by the fact Jordan has played well in games, except the last one I agree, so seems to be given a chance just now. They both have to be rotated and cannot be on together unless one can go further forward and change their style of play, which I would suggest should be Jordan's most likely opportunity as he is the younger of the two. Add to that he is a f*cking terrier when chasing a ball so will harass anyone with it and can quickly pick a pass for the forward men when he gets the ball. The one thing I did notice the last game was the long diagonal pass, especially from Joey, which seems to be coming into our game, this really doesn't suit us just now as the midfield is in disarray at times so cannot support the forwards so we lack bodies in the box when the wing back throws a cross in. Just my tuppence worth.

I am gutted for tonight and knew when I saw Barton and Rossiter in the starting 11 it would be a wrong fit. Shame to lose Dodoo so early but by fuck we were kicked about something chronic tonight at times. No excuse though the play was slow as fuck and I can't see where we are going to have a clear shot on goal just now apart from a spot kick. Think there were a couple of moves we only had garner in the box on his tod, that's not good enough it really isn't. Personally I would rotate Barton and Rossiter in def mid and get two attacking mids on, we need to push teams like this not sit back on our arse.
