He can go coach somewhere else first and if he is any good then he can apply for a coaching job at RFC. We have been down this road were ex players get shoehorned into coaching and management roles and we have all seen how that panned out.
I have a feeling that they already knew that their contracts wouldn't be renewed.And this little get together was purely a thanks very much sort of thing. Personally I would have booted their arses out the front door and told the wage thieves to fuck right off.

Personally speaking I wouldn't have a problem sitting next to them as it would make a massive difference from just sitting there listening to the usual old boring bastards moaning like fuck.
