They're the days we get a result, everyone thought they'd do us last year in the semi, then again at the Piggery a couple of weeks later, the Clint Hill game in 2017, the bookies were doing the tims minus 2 minus 3 minus 4 as specials, the New Year game before Covid, after the League Cup final everyone thought we'd be too demoralised and 'they couldny play that badly again'... we pumped them.
We'll win tomorrow by hook or by crook

Mate I've never heard of anything like it in my life, I'm not calling you a liar because it's too absurd, I just don't think you're right, if I'm wrong I'll hold my bamboozled hands up but it doesn't sound remotely plausible.

Genuinely never hard of that before, I'm no fully convinced you've not got the wrong end of the stick here.
 
What benefit is there to a German club that if someone they sell does well they'll give the club the sold him to some of their money back? Can't fathom that one out.

Never heard of a deal structured like that in my life, if Bayern punts him to us, what do they care if he reaches certain clauses? Surely it would be them that'd receive more if he reached certain clauses not give us a rebate. 😄

Football fans can be so reactionary,  not saying you are but just in general, can you imagine the amount of folk who'd want to cancel as a "that'll show them" kinda protest earlier in the season when we got scudded 4-0 off them and Ajax back to back or when everyone was wanting Gio sacked in October/November?

Never going to increase it to 18, there's just not enough quality teams to justify an 18 team league, you need a strong second tier or else the quality of the lower half of the top tier will just get progressively weaker.
You're right the money men won't change it and you can't blame them, we're the highesf attended league per capita in World Football and just on a bums on seat basis we're the 7th highest top tier in Europe, that's despite Scotland only having the 24th largest population.
The League itself is up 13% from last year and up over 5% from the last season without Covid (2018-19)
We're currently ranked 9th best League in Europe and guaranteed st least 3 clubs in group stage European football with another two clubs in qualifiers.
No money men worth their salt would attempt to reinvent the wheel when it has so much going for it at this moment in time.
Then you have to look at season tickets, I read that over 165k season tickets were sold in the Premiership for this season, imagine about 100k of that is us and them, you'd be asking fans to keep buying season tickets at the rate they are but you'd be slashing all the big games in half, I don't know how clubs would justify keeping prices near the same level as they are now although I'm sure our Board would give it a right good go.
The League is far from perfect but I'd rather have a second game against the tims, sheep, Hearts and hibs than games against dundee, thistle, queens park and inverness
It doesn't matter what format we move to, there'll only ever be two teams who can win the title here now unless something spectacular and unlikely happens and the City Group or some organisation like this buy a Scottish club, rearranging the deck chairs just for the sake of it will do nothing for the game.

Wouldn't have mattered if you had a knee jerk opt out as you pay for the year up front. They contempuously make it difficult to cancel.

That's what I'm talking about, he scored twice in his last two games even if one was wrongly disallowed, he didn't really look like he'd do any orher damage in those games, a few years ago he swung them about for 90 minutes, had loads of chances and never scored, now he does the bare minimum in comparison to what he used to do and for some reason looks more likely to get a goal, he'll do the damage on Sunday.

Couldny believe he threw Arfield on in the last minute, the crowd were going bonkers at Beale for that, different if it's 1 or 2 each and you're just trying to nick it late on but that felt more like a public boot in the baws to him more than anything else, didn't make any sense what so ever, somebody said he's proving a point to the board, if that's the case then I wish he told us he'd be playing club politics if the result isn't going our way, might no have bothered wasting a full Sunday in that shitehole.
