  1. Rothen was taken off, and disappeared down the tunnel never to be seen again
  2. Downing now has the same number of assists as Raul Mereiles for Liverpool this season.
  3. "He plays for a diddy team in the SPL so isn't Rangers class"
  4. Nah that's not me mate. I sometimes go to the Louden but Im not usually with anyone else from Sunderland. I go to games with people I know from back in Carlisle.
  5. Getting the train up from Sunderland at about half 7 in the morning. I could leave much later but I want to get pished in a pub before the game!
  6. Carlisle United. Purely because their my local team. I've been to Goodison Park, St James' and Stadium of Light a good few times over the years but wouldn't say I was a big supporter of any of those teams really.
  7. A player I thought we ought to have tried to sign when they were in league 1/Championship. He is the type of player that would score goals for us. Though he's not really the pacey kind of striker I thought we needed. Unless Jelavic or Lafferty are moving on sometime soon?
  8. Sasa Papac. I thought he'd be out the door pretty much as soon as Walter Smith arrived. Still slightly amazed at how great he's been over the last 5 years or so. Another one is MArvin Andrews, didn't he looked great at all when I saw him in a friendly against Newcastle but I thought he was a revelation during the helicopter season.
  9. It was Wigan who first used him as a winger. You can't accuse us of making that genius move Honestly don't think he's mobile enough to play upfront anymore or at all for that matter.
  10. Usually just to games or lounging about the house. Sometimes would wear it to the pub if im going to watch a game there. Used to wear them out all the time when I was younger and got aggro a few times in Carlisle off the pikeys but that was no bother, just answer back and they never did anything. If we beat the taigs or win a trophy then I must admit I do wear the colours out and about then.
  11. 31 is young for a Rangers centre half these days. I'd say he's got at least 10 years left with us.
  12. One time in a game against Hamilton in the cup (i think we won 5-1) I was sitting right next to the tunnel. McGregor flapped at a corner for their goal and as they were walking off for half time, a guy in front of me shouted at McGregor as he was going down the tunnel "Get your fucking finger oot McGregor!" Allan looked straight at me and glared and I completely shat it I shook my head, shouted "It wasn't me" and pointed to the guy in front! Felt like a right grass
  13. Imagine what we'll be like once Jelavic and Lafferty hit top form
  14. Could just be a knee-jerk reaction type of thing? At the final whistle last night it felt like the worst result ever, but then you remember other ones like losing to St Johnstone under Le Guen In terms of Scottish football history, the tims losing at home to Inverness 3-1 has got to be a bigger shock than last night.
  15. Edu was terrible last night. Did absolutely nothing.
  16. I still can't believe what I witnessed last night. Losing any game is a nightmare, but if we win on saturday then it will all be forgotten imo, I just hope Ally and the players learn from it, though that's now 3 cup games which we've lost to worse sides than us.
  17. Watch it again mate. Davis is marking Hooper but chooses to try and close down the lego muncher, Hooper then runs right past whittaker who does not track him or try to stop the run. Yes Bocanegra is deep, but Hooper is level with Goian and Papac when the ball was played as Rangers_no1 has also pointed out.
  18. I don't understand why everyone is so determined to blame Boca for this. It was Whittaker who let Hooper just run past him and let him have all the room he wanted.
  19. And possibly because our other option for the left - Damarcus Beasley - was always injured.
