  1. On a par with that one, as I said, first time I saw it was on the thread. Point being that regardless of other examples, it’s an ‘intended’ tackle of a nature that there is basically no defence in either committing or reviewing at a later time (especially) after the headlines of the last few days...
  2. What I find really surprising (or maybe not so) is why Hibs made no complaint or comment regarding their players subsequent 2 game ban whilst no realistic attention was drawn to the Brown or Simonovic tackle...
  3. First time I’ve seen that and can honestly say it’d be harder to find a more blatant dangerous ‘intended’ foul in a game of football. Farce of a referee and farce of a follow up procedure...
  4. I’m not sure of the feasibility of this but if it was possible and the shoe was on the foot with them, you can bet they would be all over this idea...
  5. Agreed, when you actually think about how we have been unfairly disadvantaged by means of this joke of a process and where we sit at the moment. This is compounded by the fact that since the winter break our matches have been far more challenging (both in opposition and in venue) than them. Hopefully some points can be drawn back when they face difficult opposition away from home...
  6. He also has the ability to ride a tackle and turn a player, hopefully his full potential will be unleashed under SG and his team...
  7. These stats are truly astounding, especially when viewed with the accompanying footage. How have we even sleep walked to this stage where there can be such a disparity between ourselves the them. A sad reflection of the unhealthy level of influence and control they have at the moment...
  8. This in a nutshell, the overall standard of ‘journalism’ (using that word lightly) in our football of late is as poor as it’s ever been. If it’s not wannabe ‘contravertial’ ex players it’s incompetend verging on cognitive bias sports writers and commentators who are really just not very good...
  9. This would be funny if I didn’t believe it could actually be true, either that or they’d be ridiculed by their ‘peers’ to the point of distraction. Sad state of affairs atm...
  10. The really sad thing that’s came to light in the last few years is that it appears (never mind ex players or pundits) we really do not have any allies or professional clubs we can consider as friends in the game. In fact it’s actually the opposite, it genuinely sickens me the vitriol and hatred thrown at us by no mark clubs and their fans considering we have constantly filled out their stadia. Don’t expect to be best friends but this negative narrative created and constantly enforced re our club and fans has to be effectively challenged...
  11. Was going to post something very similar to this. I think we should go with width, (we didn’t last time and Boyd actually stated the way we set up suited Kilmarnock’s tactics and play). If we can provide decent service then I have no doubt he will bring us goals...
  12. Exactly what is bothering me the most here...
  13. Spot on, it’s a can of worms, prompted by Rogers highlighting the incident in his post match interview...
  14. Although disappointed at the outcome of today’s decisions I would be lying if I said that despite the angular film footage in Morelos favour and the fact McGregor had the ball in his safe possession when Ferguson ‘ran’ in to his foot, raised or not (aswell as later retribution), I am really not surprised given the negative media narrative and faux outrage following the 4 penalties at Ibrox. The intervention of the compliance officer can only be deemed as ‘fair’ in a competitive football league if the same level of scrutiny is applied to all matches within that league AND probability most importantly there is an unquestionable level of parity and transparency on any action taken. The incidents which appear to be reviewed all seem to be the most publicised on MSM television and given the way things are at the moment the people responsible for selecting and commenting the ‘worthy’ incidents, would be fair to say have leanings towards the East end. There should be a transparent review of all games by a dedicated review team or for the sake of, (dare I say) ‘sporting integrity’ no retrospective action taken on any team. Long winded post I know but having watched the Brown and Simunovic clips today (on this forum, not shown relentlessly on tv as per Morelos and McGreggor) from their midweek match I’m honestly astounded why nothing is being done re them...
  15. Mentioned last night re Boyd commenting on Morelos getting up and not having any mark on his face, pity he never made the same assertion following the Lennon coin incident (or anyone else for that matter). As far as the McGregor incident goes I assume a reasonable defence to a player running at full pace towards you when on the ground would be to raise your leg as he did. Ferguson go his payback and left on on him later in the match, final whistle shake hands and move on...
  16. Looking at this (if it happens) and Ryan Jack’s move, I wonder how McInnes can look at himself in the mirror having reportedly had the opportunity to come to us in a managerial capacity. Like by far the majority of the support, I believe it was a bullet dodged but what a lack of ambition from someone who is content with being an ‘also ran’ in his professional career...
  17. Said last night how impressed I was with Shinnie’s endeavour and work rate, crossed my mind that he was possibly looking to play his way in to an opportunity for a move to Ibrox (the reaction from the Aberdeen support would be nice to witness if nothing else)...
  18. Thought Ferguson, Shinnie and Greg Stewart were their driving force tonight, Shinnie through endeavour, Stewart has composure on the ball and as above Ferguson who has an undoubted fighting spirit and determination, he is also improving in every game I’ve seen against us. I think given his family history would jump at any chance to come to Ibrox...
  19. I commented in another threat that Madden had his eye on tomorrow’s headlines instead of the incident at hand...
  20. I honestly believe that some of them actually wish (to their detriment) for the slightest piece of controversy aiding us or penalising them just so they can jump on this non existent bandwagon. ’Embarrassing’ doesn’t even come close...
  21. They really are s special breed, how many years worth of unchallenged dominance in an ‘engineered’ league which saw us taken out of the picture? Two treble winning seasons, 7 trophies in a row, Lawell accumulating an unhealthy level of power and influence in the fabric of the Scottish game, a media (majority) who have an undoubted leaning towards them at this present moment in time. Despite all of this, absolutely anything that gives them the (refer to type) victim of the establishment mentality, then they’re right on it, this is who they are... Personally, this is positive in my opinion, it means they are looking over their shoulder and no matter if its this season or moving on from here, they are finding it difficult coming to terms with the fact that we will be taking the league championship back to Ibrox...
  22. What was even more pathetic was that after reviewing the footage nobody on a media platform pointed out the elephant in the room of the coin ‘clearly’ not striking his face. The fact that this narrative was then compounded in the joke of our current parliament makes it even worse...
  23. I remember Levein mentioning this when he went on one of his many entertaining rants of late, tongue ’n’ cheek but obviously looking for the same outcome. Did it work... nope he was cited for his comments...
  24. Having watched the replay when it was being reviewed on Sky I honestly don’t know how anyone can question the ball was carried in to the box, even then with the momentum I think the initial contact was on the line. I’m fairly objective with contested decisions but no question in my mind...
