Does absolutely everybody in the squad including reserves get a winners medal in Scotland? I just seen the taigs receiving theirs and every single person connected to the club seemed to get one

Im pretty sure in every other league in the world you’re required to have a certain number of appearances for the team before qualifying for a winners medal

Sure the game quota minimum’ played is in play but additional ones for players out with this group have to be purchased...

  2. Remember him stepping up and facing the press after the European nonsense, something no senior player could and should have a done. The lad is an undoubted talent and on that evidence alone I hope his physicality matches his mental steel and he moves on to next season injury free...

Countless poor decisions and total lack of transparency spunking money on absolute shite and giving the Managers job to a scum supporting youth coach.

Is Bringing in Gerrard good enough to forget how poorly they have performed since taking over?

    Is it good enough.?

Point taken and agree with the narrative, but the footballing staff being beat in to a third place by a team who they have taken 10 points from over the course of the season points the finger first and foremost at them. Agree that the leadership from the top down has to be addressed but above that this team infuriating as they are should have realistically came 2nd...

Gerrard will be pulling his hair out next season due to refs incompetence

Hopefully Gerrard will restore some parity to refereeing decisions which reluctantly I have to say have been without doubt weighed against us this season. Right from the Stokes ‘assault’ on Tavaneir who outrageously got a yellow to today’s debacle. Gerrard is a big name who will command UK wide attention with his pressers whereas at the moment I honestly feel giving decisions (blatant) not in our favour against us is easy as no credible counter argument ever comes from the club. Hurting at what could have been but nobody to blame for today but ourselves for allowing a club who we took 10 points from to finish above us...

  5. Have just read Chris McLaughlins match report on the BBC website, no mention of the controversy surrounding Aberdeen penalty in stark contrast with Sky and even the Daily Records reporting. For their supposed top man his failure to even report the facts of the controversy surrounding same is professional criminality. Not looking for a blue tinted edge to the story but for a funded public organisation I expect an honest reflection of the facts.

Cliftonville are getting some caning in the press over their players, not only their players, but the children that came out with them as well, bowing their heads to the national anthem.

None of these players would've even been born in the troubles, the Club is where it's coming from. What message does is send to any young player there who isn't a mad Taig.

    Cunts!

They crave respect for their ‘nationalism’ however fail to show any respect dignity or decorum for those outside their narrow mindset. This is dragged from generation to generation unfortunately...

Get her a brick in her name after 1st June, mate. The certificate will be signed by non other than Steven Gerrard. My daughter's cert is signed by Mark Warburton ffs.

But it's framed and on the wall

Enjoy it mate, can't wait until my daughter's old enough to take her to her first game.

She already has a brick on the Colin Stein wall.

Surreal and very proud parent moment, she has a new scarf and I’d like to think in years to come she may recall to her own children how I took her to her first Rangers match the season just before Stevie Gerrard ripped it up and won his first Scottish trebble??...

No better feeling than taking a kid along to their first match. Enjoy it mate, hope the wee one is hooked like we all were.

Can’t disagree with a single word of that, despite some of the play I had a smile on my face for the duration and the wee one was blown away with the experience ?...

Took my 7 year old to her first game against Dundee a few weeks back, she loved it, taking her today again, fucking loved putting her scarf on and taking her by the hand up Copland Road, a fantastic experience, enjoy you're day brother ??????

Mirrored that experience today, actually felt really proud to show her the inside of the stadium and to witness the look on her face to the team coming on to the park to Simply the Best. Sounds silly but definitely an experience that will live with me for a long time to come. Hope your daughter enjoyed her second game and more to the point second win...?

  11.  Way I see things without knowing and detail is firstly Murty’s tactics of standing off were ‘clearly’ not working which became obvious from early on (ridiculous as the only time anyone has laid a glove on celtic it’s by pressing them in every area of the park). Post match Miller, (however outspoken as he sometimes comes across, is used to being a winner and passionate which obviously manifested itself in whatever happened in telling Murty the above). Wallace obviously feeling the responsibility to do so as captain backed Miller and whatever was said or done rightly or wrongly was done. Think after Sunday I’d have vented my feelings about the tactics but no doubt things will become clear in time. Murty’s tactics aside I would like to think both Miller and Wallace were as keen to let the players know their efforts were nowhere near good enough and told a few home truths to them...

  12. No excuses regarding injury’s, form or management, no Rangers team should be going down like that against Kilmarnock at Ibrox. Disappointment does not even come close to this. From the emotional rollercoaster and disappointment  of last week this is simply not good enough...

  13. STV website and various news outlets led with stories yesterday regarding Alistair Johnston as not yet being passed as a ‘fit and proper person’ by the SFA. Was wondering why this story emerged at this time, probably too coincidental re the said appointment raking this issue up, or maybe to do with the rumours of possible future investment facilitated via Johnston from the states. Either way, was this the result of o ‘journalist’ suddenly thinking that they would randomly check and report on his status or a heads up from someone within the establishment to maintain negative publicity surrounding Rangers. Genuinely curious re this...

Woods and McFadden played for him when he was Motherwell manager tbf, Grant has been his assistant basically everywhere he's went in England IIRC.

Fair point, also before his appointment I heard McFadden giving him high praise and saying that he would be the best man for the job without doubt...

Also have any of these SNP MP's on their respective Twitters or whatever, came out and slated celtic fans for attacking a Rangers bus in Govan or the personal abuse dished out to Russel Martin? can someone with Twitter ask them why?

Sadly no they have not mate and are unlikely ever to do so. Following our public ostracisation and shameful demonisation how many politicians (who I have no time for at the best of times) have stood up and publicly defended or even had anything good to say publicly about Rangers, can’t honestly think of one. Compare that to the other side of the city and they are literally tripping over themselves to be associated with them. Scratching my head how things have came to this but how refreshing would it be to have a mainstream Scottish politician who was not afraid, and dare I say proud to publically defend and be associated with all things Rangers. A rant I know, apologies...

This snp regime are trying to wipe out the Union flag from Scotland, flying an Irish tri colour  now seems to be more acceptable than the flag of our own country!

Unfortunately, you are spot on with this observation...

  18. Like many on here the recent ‘ott’disdain of all things ‘Rangers’ from a large section of the Scotland support has basically put me off watching or near enough caring about ‘my’ national team. This was compounded with Strachan and the large quota of celtic players in the squad. With Alex’s appointment I am genuinely surprised and pleased and hope some balance is restored. I was honestly expecting another one of ‘them’ to pick up the job as appears to be fashion of late. I wish McLeish all the best and if nothing else the hatred filled meltdown this has provoked has basically made my last couple of days. Good luck Alex...
