  1. I know all three involved. Colin was the year above me at Bannerman High, both he and Brian were regulars on the Wellhouse True Blues back in the 90s when I was still living in Easterhouse. They were nice blokes, not neds or troublemakers. Shaun lived round the corner from me, our Sunday paper rounds overlapped and we played football against each other regularly. He was a few years younger than me and used to be brand new but he turned a bit mental when he was about 16, he's done time before for attempted murder while he was in his teens. It's a shame to hear stuff like this, people here in Oz can't quite take it in when you tell them about the shit that goes down back there over football.
  2. I was in the London Rd terracing, fenced section of the Gers end next to the Main Stand. I was 13, I don't remember any crushing, in fact if anything that section was a lot less packed than I've experienced it at Old Firm games. However, I will never forget the atmosphere changing as the news started to come through from Hillsborough, it was eerie. I think the players felt it and I imagine that's why the game was played out with little thought for winning the match.

  4. It was Gus Hiddink that managed S Korea at that World Cup.

  9. I was 9, my first Old Firm game at Ibrox, Copland Rear with my Granda. Yes please on the Rapidshare upload.
  10. I have the greatest respect for what mccoist335 is attempting to achieve for the fans at Ibrox. I fucking loved Hullo, Hullo. I'm glad that I got to sing it at my last OF game at Ibrox back in November 2000 (5-1) before emigrating over here. I'm disgusted at the lengths the press, government and the mass offended have gone to in their efforts to marginalise us as a support and a club though not surprised. I could see it coming. I completely agree with the troops that feel they are admitting defeat if they change "that" line and that we should not have to bow to the politically correct sham that is being perpetuated by those who are against us. However, I would be willing to lose that line to get back the 4 at the beginning: Hullo, Hullo, We are The Billy Boys Hullo, Hullo, YOU'LL KNOW US BY OUR NOISE. Right now, and for a long time, there's been no noise. No crescendo. To the old-timers (I'm 32 BTW lol) on here who were at Dynamo Kiev, Leeds Utd, 5-1 against them in 88, 2-2 when Roberts did his thing, Parma when Reyna scored and all the other great times we had singing it, I ask you; Are those 8 words that important that you would rather let our greatest song die and be forgotten as a "Stadium Song" by the next generation of Bears or can you sing Hullo, Hullo with just as much passion without the need, as much as some of us dislike it, to be up to our knees? I hope when I'm next home, my last match was v Chelsea preseason 2007 (Seeeeeboooo!), that we'll be rocking Ibrox with Hullo, Hullo and not leaving ourselves open to the shit that they want to sling at us. There are 9 games and 36 points still to play for, let's get behind the team on the park for each of those 90mins we've got left from now until May. That's what matters. We will be Champions. Keep the Faith.
  11. At home, 1am KO(QLD time), great news that it's now live on SBS so I don't have to put up with Shitanta's webcast and commentary.
  12. Looks like this is gonna be a long, drawn out saga, http://theherald.co.uk/news/news/display.v...12_Olympics.php
  13. Fixt. It isn't. Assuming that means fixed. You missed the slash between Lafferty and Miller. There you go, 3-5-2
  14. 0-0 v CSKA Moscow in the first Champions League. Their keeper had a blinder after shipping 6 to the dirty, bribing, French cunt Bernard Tapie's Marseille. It was the first time I shed a tear at Ibrox although we would still have finished 2nd on goal difference due to aforementiond bribing bastard buying 6 goals from Moscow. Paradoxically, a lot of your best moments of the past 8 years have left me feeling disappointed at being unable to be there. Helicopter Sunday, Manchester etc have seen me up at all hours either watching live text on the UEFA or Gers websites or more recently a live feed on Setanta Broadband. SBS TV here in Oz showed both Barca matches live last year and also both legs of the Fiorentina tie and the Final (5.30am KO!) so I was able to watch in full HD glory as opposed to the shitty 400kbps stream I'll be getting the Hamilton game on at 10.30 tonight...
  15. My Da tells me it was John Greig's Testimonial v a Scotland XI in 1978. I have no memory of it since I was only 2 at the time! The program is still in mint condition at my parents house. The first game I remember going to was v Motherwell around 1983 with an older cousin and his mates. I don't remember the score but were sitting in the Copeland Front. We went on the subway and he bought me a couple of badges for my scarf outside the station at Ibrox. My old dear done her nut when I got home cos they were Red Hand badges.......
  16. I will never forget Davie. 11.
