Two week break will do Goldson and the rest of the team the world of good. Had a horror show but one bad game doesn't mean we knee jerk. We've played a lot of big pressure games already. Some players including Arfield, Aribo, Ojo running on empty.

Positives. Progressed to group stages Europa. Still in League Cup. 4 points better off and hopefully..........lessons learned by Gerrard. WATP. Not reading any papers or listening to the BBC who will be creaming themselves. Haven't watched it back either,and won't.

Kamara has been woeful all season and shouldn't have been near this team today. Alfredo and Jones should also have started. Both the personnel and the system were wrong for today. We changed a winning team and a winning system for fuck all reason.

The thing is, bad enough the game plan and team selection were woeful, but we couldn't have much time to have practised it in training after Thursday. It seemed to me that the players had no fucking clue what the system was. A fucking shambles Stevie G.
