  1. I know you would know that. The accounts went public on the 6th February 2 years ago so I said last week I was looking forward to them last week. I'm guessing it might have been a dig at me but maybe he was being serious and not a cheeky wee monkey.
  2. The companies act. Last 2 years the accounts were lodged at companies house on the 30th and 31st January. In the public domain a week or 2 later.
  3. Yes if there is a breakdown in relationship that cant be resolved so there needs to be extreme care around any fallout. Otherwise RR could have a monopoly on RFC merchandise supply in eternity as a 100% subsidiary of SD.
  4. If the 7 year clause was added by Llambias late in 2014 then that should be fairly easy to challenge. How could it possibly be acting in the best interests of Rangers? Just need to be careful SD don't end up with 100% of RR even if its non trading and deal is broken because RR hold exclusive licenses for all the IP so RFC couldn't start selling stuff themselves or license others to use it while the RR entity exists. The easy way to take control is to either take 100% ownership of RR or have it dissolved.
  5. Companies house should have had them by the 31st January like they did past 2 years but it takes Companies house 10-15 days to check and upload them into the public domain. Last 2 years its been the 6th and 16th February that they have become public.
  6. With the Rangers Retail accounts due to be made public this week and a possible desire to capitalise on the 51% of profit attributable to RFC as a result of the repayment of the £5 million loan, I can see a desire for King and the bears including the new guys from Hong Kong to start being slightly positive about the deal. If for example the return on sales ends up being 20% then for every pound spent SD get 98p and RFC get £1.02. A £10 million spend gets RFC over £1 million. This is another million the 3 bears don't need to find. I would not be surprised to see an non negative message appear this week which will made the remaining stock of "alternative " merchandise worthless overnight. Might be the reason for the final negative 4p in the pound spin and protest yesterday.
  7. There is no way he will walk IMO, he has a league to win and win it he will. He might be disappointed if O'Halloran doesn't sigh but I don't see him making a big deal of it. The board have just raised an unexpected £6.5 million so now is not the time for spending more than the cash flow will permit. Once the Championship is won it should be easier to get more funding to gear up for the Premiership and if the purse strings are not loosened for some decent signings then I would expect Mr Warburton to be rightly pissed off.
  8. Yes he's definitely a MASTER of BATING the callers.
  9. Funnily enough I saw Neil on Wednesday at the Arnold event in Edinburgh and my friends I and were discussing what a great player he was and how if he could pass his crossing abilities on he would be a great addition to the coaching staff. Then again I don't think talent like that can be taught.
  10. Lovely words from Paul to Donald Findlay.
  11. Was just posting that Miller could get an early one or two and then get substituted. Great stuff
  12. To be serious, I can't help thinking he would make a great legitimate marketing director for the club if it handled its own merchandise. Most marketing guys are creative bullshitters and Craig is a genuine master. Seems to have organised his online shop pretty well too.
  13. Yes and he qualified for maximum cash discount from Richer Sounds. Now he pays through the nose at Brighthouse after nearly dying for us bitches.
  14. It is well known in the Glasgow martial arts community that Craig is a trained Ninja. He would destroy a mere 2 transit van loads of baseball bat wielding warriors hence 3 were required but it turns out they shat it when Craig adopted the praying mantis stance.
  15. I sense a lot of jealousy and hating on here just because Craig was very successful and had a Bentley and a Jaguar.
  16. The procedure for the repayment of a secured loan is for the loan to be paid back first and the security release to follow over the next 2-4 weeks. No lender would release security before this happened as it would leave them exposed. With a floating charge and the first ranked charges over the properties plus assignation reversion of the IP I would certainly expect a month to pass before the security is released but there is no way anything can happen until the £5 million is repaid. Nothing should be stopping this except the actual raising of the money and I assume there could be a delay now that loan cannot be converted to equity per resolution 10 failure. Not sure if it would have been dependant on this.
  17. My understanding is that a tax planning scheme is only illegal if it constitutes a deliberate evasion of tax. There has to be intent for it to be illegal (such as deliberately under declaring your profits). A tax avoidance scheme which is incorrectly administered does not automatically become evasion and therefore does not become illegal. The proof of this is whether or not there is criminal repercussions for the perpetrator. In the case of incorrectly administered EBTs there is only interest and late payment penalties. The Rangers EBT scheme is therefore not illegal and is at worst an incorrectly handled case of legal avoidance. This makes the effective tax repayable with costs but does not create a criminal of anyone therefore it is not illegal.
  18. Yes and yet they have major shareholders like Lord Smith of Kelvin. Looks like the shareholders have had a new issue to pay off some bank debt and the bank have renegotiated the balance to allow a longer repayment term.
  19. I had look at the net worth of the companies that the board of Partick Thistle are directors / owners of. I reached £150 million pretty quickly. These guys are seriously loaded compared to King/Park etc. yet no one has ever heard of them.
  20. I used to work with one of these tartan army guys and I think he even used to do to interviews as a kind of spokesman for them. You have summed him up to a T.
  21. Very nice of them to make that poster up. Its an honour to support them.
  22. To enjoy the match in style head up to the new Yard House sports bar/restaurant in front of the new Orlando Eye big wheel up International drive. You can't miss it as its nearly the same size as London Eye. They have maybe 30 TV's showing sport from all over the place and will stick on whatever channel you want.
  23. If Ally and Dave had just been honest and said "Ally is away to be a pundit so his garden leave payments are over" then that would be fair enough. It's the PR spin to make it seem like a great negotiation to improve the fans feelings towards Ally that gets my goat. They must think all Rangers supporters heads button up the back.
  24. And yet he never mentioned it to his friend Dave King according to Dave's press conference today. Dave must be feeling like a fool now.
