  1. Does any Bears know the dates for these games and do the coincide with the game against the sheep on October 21st
  2. Heard it just over half an hour ago, from an impeccable source who works in Argyle house at the stadium for the club.
  3. Just heard that Forrester has signed for AFC Wimbledon about his level I would say.
  4. Great news, I would expect the next home game the following week should sell out as well ????????????????
  5. I blame their schooling or could it just be that inbreeding is still rife!!!!!!?????
  6. Seriously judge him in December before the break, must admit I do worry about the lack of goals being scored.
  7. I made contact with a very senior officer within police Scotland after the Hogmanay match regarding the little cretin tying unwashed scarves to goal posts after matches and was told that it was being "monitored" this was a purely "please don't quote me conversation" my further comment was that they are literally getting away with whatever they please and again the reply was they are being monitored. My feelings on the matter are as follows " if you give a person enough rope they will eventually hang themselves. ( no pun intended)
  8. The young man is an inspiration to everyone ?????may he continue to be successful at his sport and unlike many others who are in the media spotlight he for one is not afraid to tell the world of his affection for our great club.
  9. Would really like to donate to this very worthwhile cause, can you give me details please?
  10. I fail to both see and understand your logic in your statement when you say "embarrassing this hangs on to our support" very briefly I have been attending Ibrox for over 56 years (season ticket holder for the past 34 seasons non stop) and although not a member of an orange lodge still very much look forward to attending parades and marvel at the music and culture that they provide every year. For years the catholic faith in our country have claimed (without justification) that they have been persecuted well now it is my very firm belief that it is us yes us of the Protestant faith who follow Rangers that are being persecuted in anyway shape form or size, I would even go as far as being demonised at times, so to say that our culture is "embarrassing" when both Scottish republicanism and Irish republicanism are very much "alive" and may I say "thriving" in our lovely country is really a bit "embarrassing" on your part.
  11. Would just like to take this opportunity to wish all fellow fans of our beloved Rangers who are heading across the water to enjoy a "Stroll" tomorrow, may the sun shine bright on your backs and may the music you hear be uplifting and joyful but most importantly may you all return home safely to your loved ones and families.
  12. We normally do the chairmans suite but it's closed tomorrow so it's argyle house box 23
  13. Treated the good lady and myself to hospitality, to be at Ibrox for quarter to five for pre meal drinks I just have a hunch that things may well get a bit messy. Here is to a fantastic night with our beloved Rangers scoring a few goals.
  14. I have been attending ibrox as man and boy for over 55 years and have witnessed many many wonderful European nights from our run to Barcelona in 1972 when the late and sorely missed Sandy Jardine scored in the semi final against Bayern Munich to the champions league nights against Leeds etc, all great memories but this match on Thursday will be every bit as special for everyone attending due to the fact that we as a support and our great club have endured so much torment and utter nonsense these past years which will make it a very emotional and spine tingling occasion. Let nobody or nothing ever doubt the fact that we are on our way back to where we belong and I for one can't wait for the day to come.
  15. According to club site the game on Thursday is a sell out, how bloody good is that fellow bears, what a truly wonderful support our great club has onwards and upwards.
  16. I was a fresh faced 18 year old who travelled down to Glasgow from Newtonmore by train then a coach to Prestwick airport, stayed at the hotel Volga in callela and we were all bussed to Barcelona and back after the match. I was behind the goals that Colin Stein and Willie Johnston scored into, wonderful memories and this may sound strange but my most vivid memory is of many Bears enjoying a singsong back the bar in our hotel Volga and the dreaded Franco's police coming in and the hotel manager basically pleading with them that there was no bother. "Strange" anyway as I type I am raising a glass to our "Beloved Barcelona Bears" and I look forward to 5 years time when we get the same adulation afforded the 50 year thing happening just now, but as the saying goes I won't hold my breath.????????????
  17. That would be in a perfect world but as we all know we don't.
  18. Breaking news is that various clubs in England been raided in tax fraud probe, our "friends" at Newcastle being one and West Ham another. People been arrested it seems.
  19. From a grateful bear in Dubai who couldn't find a live screening thanks for that now for a beer cheers.????????????????
  20. Nightshift tonight (pish) train from Stirling to Queen street to be at ibrox for 10 (hospitality) watch us beating the unwashed mob then taxi to Aberfoyle for the new year.?????????????????????
  21. These (people) sorry I know they are the lowest form of pond life known to man, let's all just hope that they fail very badly in the soap dodging stakes while being detained during her majesty's pleasure or in their case pain??????????????????????????
  22. Mhanky mob busses now leave from the west end one that's on Argyle street, it never used to be like that but now run by 2 sisters who are "sympathetic" to the dark side. I used to be a regular years ago when it was run by a "good brother" from Lewis, but haven't been near the place for a long time.
  23. As title Gordon won his semi final today which means that he ends the season as world number one, absolutely brilliant "Well done Gordon" One of our own????????????????
  24. The word "legend" is in my opinion used far to often but surely this great "Ranger" and loyal servant to our club can be classed as a "Legend"
