Whatever the result Beale will get next season with his players and not those he inherited. If he can get a final song out of them then it's let go for the remainder of the season.

Best away performances this season have been in Edinburgh. Both Hibs and Hearts set up to have a go at us. scum will do the same. Up to Beale to select the best starting XI and get the tactics right. If he does that then we win.

If by 'cutbacks' you are referring to the odious habit some of our players have whereby they won't make the 50/50 pass forward but instead play a pointless pass backwards then I concur.

To have a remote chance of topping the league come the end of the season this is a must win game. If we can press them all over the park for 90 minutes then we come out on top. In other words don't sit back and let them knock the ball about as that will lead to defeat.

VAR is getting more decisions right than wrong so it's an improvement. End of story. Other sports see no problem in having discussions between the ref and VAR broadcast live. I agree with this. Nothing to hide etc etc.

Criticism of Robertson and Wilson I get as many are unhappy with their job performance. Park did his job and did it well. A few hoops to be negotiated first. He has to want to sign. His personal terms have to be reasonable (I would not be put off by Kent/Morelos salary levels). Bayern hold up their end of the deal and let him go for the agreed price. 5 or 6M has been bandied about. If all those boxes get ticked then signing him is a no brainer.

The days of us getting a very big fee for Alfredo are long gone. On the other side for 1M we have definitely got our moneys worth out of him. I am coming down on the side of letting him go.

Don't know anything about injury insurance for footballers but I would imagine that the way it works is that the club insures it playing staff at the beginning of the season and then claims on that policy if a player becomes injured. Just guess work but I would not be surprised if we are claiming around 10k a week for Roofe.

Sakala is a very likeable individual who combines moments of brilliance with moments of utter dross. You just never know what's next but he never gives up. Doesn't let a bad touch bother him just gets on with the game. Kent, Colak and Sakala are, barring injury, our front 3 for the rest of the season.

Very impressed with the start that Cantwell and Raskin have made. Just shows that you can get quality players for relatively little money. Also happy with Beale. We are starting to see how he wants us to play.

Matondo had a decent start in pre season but then dropped right out of plans. We spent a lot of money on him so hopefully this is a sign that he is on his way back.

More an observation than an arguement. A stronger league would attract better sponsorship and make for more entertaining games. Benefits the game as a whole. Nothing to do about why we are behind them.

I may be older than you but I remember sheep and Dundee Und making European finals in the 80's. There was similar success in the 60's. I am not excusing our current poor form but a stronger league would help on many levels.

It was more meant to underline how poor Scottish football has become. No decent opposition.

There used to be some depth to Scottish football but that is no longer the case. scum are content just to batter dross into submission as they have no European ambitions.
