Have to say I agree with the OP. Can't think of a thing he did to influence the game at all. He had a header on goal, that's about it probably. Thought Holt had more impact in the time he was on.

Waghorn was immense today. He's one of those players who I think you appreciate even more when you see him in the flesh. His work rate is fantastic and he's got quality on the ball too. He makes runs everywhere but still manages to get on the end of created chances. Gutted he didn't get s goal today, he deserved it. Obviously Tavernier was good, scoring and setting one up, but MOTM could've been any one of Tavernier, Waghorn or Halliday. Tavernier probably edged it with the goal though.

For me the captain shouldn't just go to someone who's been here for a certain amount of time. It should be someone who is capable of leading men and also being the on-field manger IMO. Don't know much about Eustace but from what I've heard and listening to MW, I'd think that if he signs, he'd be captain.
