No , Clark can score headers and tap-ins like any striker, but my reference to Mandzukic was because like Clark - Mandzukic can score goals like that but didn't really fit in with the team playstyle at Bayern. Lewandowski (like Waghorn) is the striker who fits Bayerns (Our) playstyle (by being able to pass and also create goals himself) when Mandzukic (Clark) isn't, therefore took Bayern's strikeforce to the next level. We could play Clark every match this season, he might score goals, but he isn't the best fit for the team's style as much as Waghorn or Hardie are, or the best fit for the team imho. Which is why I referenced that situation at Bayern which is a bit similar.even though Mandzukic is obviously world class. I suppose Clark gives us a plan B that so much yearn for .. but I agree with Warburton fully that Plan B is not an option tl;dr Waghorn & Hardie contribute far more to the whole team, our play, and the future of Rangers more than Clark unfortunately, so are more likely to be the strikers for our future. Plus Hardie is much more likely to develop better if we give him a chance like I think Magic Hat is working towards, rather than try to keep him on the bench for years while playing Stevie May or something ..

I agree with Warburton Waghorn & Hardie must be the 2 central strikers. Miller is here for next season but that will be great for us in Old Firm games next season, I am sure he will rise to the occasion and score a double perhaps and show the rest of the team how to beat them and what it's all about. I would say Clark can finish but he feels like Mandzukic at Bayern, yes he can score if you give him a chance but is he the best for the team?

I think Kiernan is like a Gladiator in defence. Every time he makes a tackle you know he is going to get the ball.

I agree with your post a bit mate, but to be brutally honest; the previous board would have just tunneled us into a debt mountain if fan's didn't come, rather than leave no club at all like you hint at. The previous board in their perilous financial planning would have signed loan agreements with bad terms worth much more than the ones that they actually did sign, if fans didn't go. I'm glad King fought to get a good board in place now of course.

agree mate. I think a midfield 3 of Holt, Halliday, Shiels would rip teams apart, but Shiels' energy when subbed on is a gamechanger.

to me that is a debt timebomb to spend 30 mil on players who might be flops like Celtic waste their money & I wouldn't call for that as a fan. I think we will stick with youth and great value signings like Holt + ones like Tav/Waggy costing up to 1 mil/2 mil each if the signings are value for that price. I agree Shiels Clark Miller etc wont do the business in Europe, but Barrie McKay and Jason Holt can and probably will for us imho. Wilson and Halliday are at least decent but maybe they won't be the best CB/CDM(s) we will have in next few years. Celtic have went down the route you mentioned and they are declining now, Warburton's way will give us the foundations to be at the top for years to come with our whole club infrastructure revitalised towards youth and our playstyle. IMHO MW will get us qualified for Europe within 3 seasons without spending more than 10 mil max, though I expect 5 mil to be closer to the amount to get us there. I don't worry about finances, I know that in the end, Rangers will be strong again and King will prevail for our club, whether we worry about it or not. Let King & our accountants worry about finances, because they are the people who are going to fix them for us. The only reason it was a financial loss this year, is because Championship prize money is tiny compared to Premiership, as well as TV money Euro money etc. When we get first season in Premiership our income will be at least 2-3 million extra a year not including Euro money I believe. There's no point sitting discussing where all of our money is going to come from, because next season all of our income streams will increase massively and we won't need any loans anymore soon as we get promoted. MASH? Like King said today future agreements will be more beneficial to both parties. When we pay off this 5mil loan like agreed today, a lot of the negative clauses of the loan that give Ashley power while it is still unpaid will cease to exist.

This was Lee Wallace last season in my avatar (when LW put rumours he wanted a transfer to bed and it's the reason he done it), doesn't look like he downed tools to me mate, he's a true Ranger and will be a Rangers legend forever, for sticking with us for 5 years when we got relegated then taking us back to 55 as Captain and showing all of the class, commitment & love for Rangers he has done all this time

imho for any scottish club to sign a 17yo Feyernood youth is a bit groundbreaking, (it might not be amazing as obviously there is a chance he is not good or it's not true), if true he could quite easily be the next Barrie McKay for us on the other wing. It also shows we are on the right path with our scouting & youth etc. albeit I don't need youth signing rumours to help make my mind up about that Quoted post 2: "Amazing news? So how often did you watch the Feyenoord youth teams?" I don't but they're a top dutch club. The only youth from Feyernood I can name is Giorginio Wijnaldum who is a frightening player (he scored four goals in one game 2 months ago, for newcastle in epl as a winger/cam) he came the whole way through Feyernood academy. I am sure they have some other exciting Dutch prospects too from their youth academy such as Jordy Clasie?

Amazing news if it is confirmed, also the news of Tom Lang & Liam Burt joining our youth in the past few months is amazing too. The future is bright for everything at Rangers even our academy is bursting with exciting young players

We've just got to take it on the chin and move forward stronger from it, having learnt from the mistakes like our team are doing instead of moaning. Just like the squad I wouldn't even think about/consider Hibs as a threat. The squad are so focussed/determined on winning every single match as they come each week, that Hibs will never be able to overtake us, this is the closest we will be to them all season. Bring on 28 Dec the next match against Hibs to win & probably KO their season, then leave them in 2nd place where they will be lucky to even get through playoffs. Just to put it this way, if RFC don't win the title this season I would eat my hat. So no reason to panic. after we beat Hibs 28 Dec we will be at least 10 clear by January 31st. Time for a new signing. Boom. Play up until summer maybe MW will integrate youth more when we wrap it up, then look forward to Summer Signings and our first season back in the Premiership again in 5 years

A lot of CFC/other prem fans think they are all the next Mad Phil, and all think that by posting nonsense online & using google to try find public info etc. from their couch they can become him .. It is a sad pittance but they can spend their time however they like. If that was a real Rangers article it would have surfaced on a real Rangers source such as RM, VB, Ibrox Loyal etc etc..// I know a bit about websites and that site is so basic, it looks like it has been set up in 3 hours by a CFC fan. My verdict: that is a fake CFC obsessed fan site & we shouldn't even give it hits ever again, if I had the ability I would take the site down with DDOS, There is no way we should let deluded obsessed Timposters set up sites like that and run them as a hobby and potentially make money from it too The 1st sentence proves it is no true RFC fan site, and this shows the length which obsessions can take them ... We're linked with Windass, a goal scoring CM from English League one out of contract at end of season, 21yo, worth 250,000 in xmas as out of contract end of season. Sounds good to me. Has scored a few this season not sure how many but sounds promising

I agree re: the goal difference mate, but our GD has started to go off the tracks, every fortnight period since September - Hibs have been gradually catching up on our GD. Hibs have only conceded one more and scored around 12 less, that's not a gulf at all. I'm confident we will still cruise to the title. But I hope there are no more sticky results so that Hibs aren't on our back the full season. I would rather leave them in the dust. i'm not panicking at all it's just a wake up call that we can have an off day sometimes + need to learn how to deal with it better as we could have still cruised the game out, we need a couple more new faces from W&W to propel us to 55. I fully agree with Waldo's reaction if you read his interview. We will be back next game. The season would have been so much better if we swept Hibs aside a couple of games ago, instead of the way it is now where the team need to basically go on a 12 run win again to prove their dominance again. All of the teams will think they can take a point from us now so hopefully that stops it from being a David v Goliath battle against 10 defenders who counter every game & can help us to start opening the bloodbath of goals again
