Dean's a trier - which is more than could have been said for most of the team last season - but I don't think he has the class to be a first team starter in the SPL when we get there - that's why I would sell him in the summer tbh.
Good appointment for Liverpool I'm sure he will be more successful than Rogers - which shouldn't be too hard - but challenging for the title? That's another matter. Top 4 every season is more realistic and definitely achievable with their budget.
As much as I want to see Rangers players in Scotland shirts , I'm not convinced Danny is better than Hanley. However, Lee Wallace is better than anything else we have at left back imo.
We are too big to be a feeder club like Dundee Utd. As for Waggy. Great interview. He speaks so well and as another poster says - I like the fact he mentioned of our great history too.
A good manager in the wrong job as someone says earlier. Time for him to hang up his boots - he's no spring chicken and the stress of managing a club like Sunderland cannot be good for the blood pressure.
There is no chance our manager would leave us in the lurch even if he was offered the Liverpool job imo - which he wont. He's started something special at Rangers and will want to see it through. Liverpool is a poisoned chalice at any rate - same as Newcastle.
