George Smith was one of the worst referees I have ever seen but I'll give him this, he had the most remarkable eyesight. Allow me to explain: Aberdeen were the visitors to Ibrox and Iain Durrant (I think - not too sure), anyway, whoever it was scored what I thought was a perfectly good goal - an Aberdeen player had kick the ball after ir had crossed the line. Smith was about 30 yards away from play and he disallowed the goal because "the whole ball had not crossed the line". Amazing eyesight.

The Diplomatic Corps lost a good one when they lost you, eh?

The way the Germans played the night against the tarriers

Last week Stindl couldn't have scored in a brothel, he missed two open goals and BM are mid-table. But, having said that, the Bundesliga is of a far higher standard than ours. -
I hear he has been offered a one match ban.

I see MW has been charged by the Compliance Officer with "Bringing the game into disrepute". Irony overload here. How can the SFA charge anyone with bringing the game into disrepute?
-
It could just be that QoS "weren't that good a side" because Rangers made them look like that?
-
I didn't forget that at all. My point was that he, through incompetence, or whatever, lost those 15 points to teams that we should have beaten.
-
Can someone tell me why it is that McCoist surrendered 15 points and the title to the pond scrapings and remained in situ for what seemed an eternity; almost bankrupting us in the process with the signing of some of the biggest chancers in Scottish football, yet there is already a witch-hunt for MW?
-
Were they not recommended by McParland?
-
I think he understands the game only too well. What, it appears, he didn't reckon on, was the level of bile and vitriol that he would face when we got to the top division; reporters at press conferences who have left their green and grey scarves at the door - well, some of them, anyway.
-
Have you never heard the old saying: "When the going gets tough..." etc?
-
That would depend on whether they are out of tune or not. :-)

If, prior to coming here Warburton didn't know what was expected of him, he certainly knows now, or should. You have to ask, what has DW been telling him? I am reminded of Advocaat's fatuous remark after they beat us 6 - 2 "It's only a game". Not to me it isn't.

In the last second of time added on with the scores at 0-0. Now that would really set the cat among the pigeons.

About to be(?) Ex-Stoke player.

It is on another site that the BBC have said that Charlie Adam is at the midden for a medical.
-
Jock Wallace was another who flatly refused to denigrate the name of Rangers in any way, despite the way he was treated.
-
Really? McCoist lost 15 points and handed the title to the pond scrapings. He was still there for the following season and there were still those who would not hear a word against him.

They could do worse. -
1 for all the "paranoid Protestants" out there

This was the BBC, remember. Did anyone really expect a degree of fairness? The question is rhetorical. I continue to be surprised by the number of people who still buy the gutter rags that despise us and, those who support the BBC by continuing to buy a licence. -

Thermoplyae "The good thing is the papers have never been so weak because the net has destroyed their circulation and if the advertisers thought no Bears were buying them they would soon find somewhere else to spend their money." Exactly. Only yesterday figures were published showing the continuing fall in newspaper circulation. The once mighty Glasgow Herald is now outsold by the Falkirk Herald. -

A good start would be to stop buying that paper - or any other paper that clearly demonstrates a bias against Rangers. You could write to the editor explaining why you will no longer be buying that particular paper - be factual; list your reasons and don't resort to insults. Advertisers only advertise space where they think the benefits of their product can be explained to the greater number of people. Write to them (a list of all the ceo's of all companies is available from Google). Every journey always begins with the smallest step. -

Regarding what? News? The internet has plenty of alternative news outlets available. -

Not really. To the likes of the Day-late Record, it's nothing more than a slap on the wrist. IPSO is a watchdog sans teeth. Remember that this excuse for a newspaper is in a commercial arrangement with the pond scrapings and if another excuse - any excuse - presents itself to denigrate Rangers and/or their support in any way, it will use it. Personally, I am still bemused by the fact that people buy it when good toilet paper is in plentiful supply, and cheaper, too.
