When does it stop being a "knee jerk" reaction?
When we lose 5-1 to Celtic at home? Done that already.
When we lose a two decade long winning streak against Aberdeen? Fucked that too.
See when Hibs take 3 off us and Hearts do the same a week later, will it then be an apparopriate reaction?
An armband doesn't make you any better or worse of a leader and if the players can only perform well if the man in the armband does then they should be playing for a special needs teams.
Its a status symbol, nothing else.
Exactly.
Doing this would also technically wipe on of our worst ever results from existence on top of giving us the chance to progress further in the competition by some miracle.
He's quite clearly had words with some fans, he's also quite clearly had a calm discussion about it with other fans.
Doesnt make a difference though, unless one of the fans told him not to play Niko Kranjcar and two defensive midfielders against teams were (theoretically) much better than.
If you ignore his first several years at the club then sure.
You also could've bought that mobs whole team with what Morelos and Cardoso cost, not to mention Red Imps are better than the team we've just lost to. In respect to our result, ours is much worse.
I had a lovely time thank you, I was part of thousands of Rangers fans helping in local businesses and charities.
However, I did spot some guys in Celtic kits kicking fuck out of the animals at and animal shelter and raiding homes.
Walter was a proven manager and had previously done wonders for us and was duly given grace.
Rodgers loss was his first competitive game with a squad he had signed 1 player for (Not to mention the fact they skudded Red Imps about 5-0 in the home leg).
Pedro is basically a worst of both worlds from those two examples as not only has he got us eliminated BUT he's been in the job for months and worked with these players.
He's got the correct attitude as a footballer clearly, but we'll finish 3rd again if he's a starter for us next season.
Dorrans is 30, so we're as well bleeding Rossiter in over a season or two.
They both are "Rangers men" though at face value.
I know you feel strongly about the pair of them and that's fair enough so I'm no wanting to get into an argument bud.
Dorrans, McLean, Walker, Naismith, (Tentatively I say this) Wallace.
Thats yer starting Rangers man core.
Jack, Wilson, Miller.
Thats yer back up Rangers man core.
It's just an armband, that's it.
You don't need to be some kind of iconic figure to wear it and if it was this legendary vision of all things Rangers and leadership wearing it game in game out, it wouldn't actually impact the team at all because it's a glorified status symbol.
Not lose 5-1 at home to Celtic. Not break a two decade long streak against Aberdeen. Not lose 2-0 to the 4th best team in Luxembourg.
Since he's already fucked all of them I can only predict he'll be lucky to see the season out.
