Was at the ticket office today and something caught my eye as I drove up to the stadium. Those plastic sheets down the gables (and at the top) of the broomloan and Copland rd stands are totally gubbed. I'm sure they are the originals from 35-36 years ago. The mhanks changed their's recently to clear plastic sheeting and it makes a big difference. I know there are many priorities regarding the stadium and other financial matters but they are getting really obvious now and need changed. Don't think it's that big a job really.

Like the way this thread has developed. Each has their own opinion and is entitled to it. Ive stopped going to away games- it's a personal choice. I know someone else will fill it so its not a boycott thats achieving anything worthwhile. I just cannot give clubs like hearts Aberdeen etc my own money But like many have said already - if you are supporting the team at pittodrie, tynecastle or wherever then do you have to buy a programme or food/drink at their kiosks?

On current form we go in as firm underdogs. There is a loss of pace and mobility in midfield which is worrying me more than anything. I can see them allowing us to play from the back then blitzing us at the halfway line and running at our back four. That said I'm intrigued to see how we match up to a team who don't put their whole team behind the ball.

I'd go for it in a heartbeat. If we got into the football league with a passport to the premiership then the possibility of a big foreign investor becomes very real. We (and admittedly them) would be prime targets for Middle East/American investors it could transform us. I think the clubs down there would buy into it - not all but most. It's the fa's and UEFA who will block it.

What he and Letham et al want is a new share issue to raise serious funds but of course Billy Bunter from sports direct blocked that that is number one priority for us right now.
