Take a bow Clint Hill ?/Clint Hill Appreciation Thread
Monty Zoomer replied to RFCRobertson's topic in Jimmy Bell's Kitroom
I am genuinely sad to see the man go - he can hold his head up high. OK he may not be as good as we have come to expect in the past but he is as good, if not better, than anything we are due to expect in recent years. I think it will be a gamble whether we can bring in anyone better for next season -
What happens if King DOESN'T back Pedro tho - who can we get if he won't do it - will anyone else touch us - it really seems like no-one wants to invest in our club at all. What if he is as good as we are gonna get for the foreseeable....
-
Class act - love him ! He MUST get a new contract even if he is only backup for a younger player?

DJ The Support deserve to hear from King
Monty Zoomer replied to Smile's topic in Jimmy Bell's Kitroom
I think DJ is a bit of an optimist when it comes to us usually, to the extent that he is often blinded by that optimism. However, he is spot on here - well said and soundly written !! -
Really feel sorry for Beerman - he has been thrown in at the deep end. Worst time to be introduced to the senior squad when things aren't going well and everyone is under pressure - hope he comes through it OK as I think he has the talent to go far. Also, is it just me, or has anyone else noticed he looks like Richard Gough? LOL

How do we get the Investment needed?
Monty Zoomer replied to BertContraband's topic in Jimmy Bell's Kitroom
You are spot on there - MA has the potential to be our saviour though - a cheap way into the champs league for him (cheaper than getting Newcastle there anyway). Can't believe I am actually typing that I want him to oust King - not ideal but the best of a bad bunch of suitors - we are going nowhere at the moment. At least having some money to bring in players should count for something going forward -
Am slightly suspicious of all the hand shaking - like its staged. However, MOH looks determined, rather than angry IMO ?

Kenny Miller finally offered a new deal
Monty Zoomer replied to CoatbridgeBear's topic in Jimmy Bell's Kitroom
Have to agree - for me, he has been one of the top players this season and he will be a good, stable root for bedding in whatever new players come in for PC after the culling of MW players. Need SOME stability during the transition - to be honest, there aren't many in the current squad that I want to keep and I bet Pedro feels the same way -
Wee Wullie Henderson tells it as it is
Monty Zoomer replied to SeparateEntityMyArse's topic in Jimmy Bell's Kitroom
They didn't get into the champions league money phases more than once in the last 4 years and liewell admitted that they had lost approx. £10M per year with us being in the lower leagues -

What did Whyte need the money for - I thought he only paid a £1? Did he have to pay the overdraft out of that, as a condition of the sale? -
Loan players leaving this season
Monty Zoomer replied to Monty Zoomer's topic in Jimmy Bell's Kitroom
That would be amazing especially if we could afford to buy at least one of them -
***** The Official Taigs v Rangers Match Thread *****
Monty Zoomer replied to PromDeAnglais's topic in Jimmy Bell's Kitroom
The only thing I AM sure of is that Kenny must play - he loves scoring against them and I have a feeling this game will only have one or two goals in it -
I know Toral and Hyndman will be going back to their respective clubs - who else do we have that will be a big loss? Hopefully, we can bring in a couple of good players to replace these guys without having to loan them - I know we needed the help but am looking for a fresh start under Pedro and we need to start developing our own talent instead of everyone elses

What's a realistic Transfer Budget for next season?
Monty Zoomer replied to ZeeFour's topic in Jimmy Bell's Kitroom
If we could find a proven goalscorer who averages a goal a game in this shit league, I think we should splash whatever is needed as that's all we really need - scoring goals is our biggest problem -
Pedro Caixinha and Martyn Waghorn Press Conference
Monty Zoomer replied to RFCRobertson's topic in Jimmy Bell's Kitroom
Pedro is another class act. One thing we always attract is managers with class and dignity - wish we could say the same for our owners / board -
Quality - this could be a great game !
-
I wont ever clap for a team that were managed by a man who hid a kiddie fiddler. I don't often comment on paedophilia as its a disgusting way to score points. Its in the past, as is the achievement of 9IAR - lets move on. That's my reason for not clapping tho
-
Not going to happen - no way am I clapping that

Senderos to sporting director(Grasshoppers)
Monty Zoomer replied to Orange and Blue's topic in Jimmy Bell's Kitroom
How long was Senderos contract for - I thought it was only 1 year anyway? -
Rangers to give Celtic a Guard of Honour
Monty Zoomer replied to RFCRobertson's topic in Jimmy Bell's Kitroom
We should give a GOH - we are still a class above and its the right thing to do. It will be all the more satisfying when we win the league next year, knowing that they have to give us one too, or show themselves up for the rancid cunts they are ! Don't give a fuck what HIBS think is wrong or right - we are Rangers and WE know what is right -
In our 9IAR years, the only games they won were at the end of the season if I recall correctly - no matter how professional you are, the optimism wanes at the end while we have our pride to fight for

Willie Vass Pic Late Tonight Of Ibrox
Monty Zoomer replied to julescotia's topic in Jimmy Bell's Kitroom
One of the best shots I have seen - beautiful from any angle, mind -
This could be our best chance to beat them in the league - the foot will be off the gas, for sure - they can't sustain it all season
