All the best to him where ever he ends up. Couldn't see him breaking into our 1st team any time soon so probably a good call to leave. Sure he'll find his level.
Without a doubt shagger is the best keeper in the league. Wes is a great option to have, would rate him in the top 5 keepers in the league, probably higher if he got gametime. Reckon the only other teams he wouldn't be instant first choice are the sheep and possibly the taigs.
He's a decent player, but I am not convinced he will get that much gametime at the piggery. Midfield is probably their strongest area, maybe they're planning on shifting a few out, the Frenchie?
Either way, fair play to his agent. Has played a blinder.
While we are better than we were a couple years ago, Stevie hasn't accomplished anything tangible yet. The prospect of him leaving before he's got our name back on some silverware is a piss take.
The £10k figure probably included bonuses, really doubt it'd be base salary. £20k, no fucking chance.
Either way, sit back and enjoy the bitter timplosion.
Davie Weir.
Was seething about signing a player at that stage of their career. Turned out to be immense. FFS he was one of the biggest factors for us getting to a European final. Insane.
You're right, I would love to see him tell them to fuck off, and instead be at a club next season where he is a regular starter and has the oppertunity to develop. Would love to see him sign for us as he looks talented, but I'm not convinced he would be a regular starter for us either.
Guessing they'll go back with a better offer and he'll sign.
Don't think he is ready for either us or them at this point, can't see him getting much game time at either club. Maybe that's his thinking and he wants to go somewhere he will actually play and develop, instead of cashing in. Would be very admirable.
Changes quite a lot when you look at inflation. An extra £3m on £9m is a big increase. Even Flo becomes a £20m player ffs.
Obviously the English markets are more, but that player from Swansea will have been proven at a higher level week in week out too.
If it's the best XI over that period in Scotland probably us. If it's based on values after they left Scotland I'm not sure, but probably a good debate topic. Average over that period, them but thats more a case of us having shite like Kevin Kyle in the lower leagues than them having a particularly strong squad prior to our return.
Without the blue tinted specs on, Tierney is a more valuable player than Tav.
That said, I don't want to see Tav go, even if we get an offer around £10m. Can only see our chances of the title next seasons drastically declining if he does leave.
