Truthfully I wasn't that excited about Defoe coming in given our track record with older players. Fair play to the lad, he's done very well since coming in, hopefully he keeps his high standards going into next season.

How likely are we to be seeded for the latter qualifying rounds or is that going to be heavily dependent on who we beat earlier on? Bit of luck in the latter round draws (should we get there) avoiding the top tier teams that will likely appear and no reason we can't get into the groups again. That said, upsets happen in qualifying rounds all the time. Couple of draws against villareal, had it been knockout rounds we would have went through against them. Granted, league plays a completely different context to knockout rounds. But shows we shouldn't fear whoever we get.

Interestingly, he only has 5 reds to his name, 3 for us and 2 in 1 season for Hull. Not sure if that includes retrospective punishments, but surprised it isn't higher with the crazy moments he has. Maybe it's crept more into his game as he's got older, or keepers are scrutinised more nowadays.

Think he's a great CB for us and compliments Goldson very well. So refreshing to have 2 CBs who have the ability, yet are still young enough to form a partnership that could be last for a number of years. I suspect he will improve even more in the coming seasons and be a big player for us, or net us a big return and go onto the bigger leagues.

Can't remember him being hot headed. That said I was just reading up on Klos's record with us and one of the things that came up was Klos getting back into the team after shagger got sent off against Tel Aviv in Uefa cup, so maybe he has always been like this.

If we appeal, and when we rightfully lose the appeal, would his ban be increased? Know he'd miss the game against the unwashed if we don't, but would rather have him for the start of next season in games that have significance in the league.

Feel he's been competing with Morelos for most reds. Both could easily be on more than they are.

Firmly believe Worrall had something in his loan terms stipulating he had to play a certain number of games. Regardless, its undoubtedly been a tough season for Katic and family has to come first. I suspect he will be a big player for us in the years to come.

It was the same for the youth Cup final. Our front 3 and keeper constantly being praised throughout (only player equal on theirs was dembele which was fair enough) but when you come on here you'd think the commentators said nothing good about us. Way too many of our support on here just want to be the victim. Both penalties today were soft. Not saying they shouldn't of been penalties but they definitely weren't stone wallers. Wasn't impressed with Katic play acting, but the acting in general in modern football has always disgusted me. Either way, always enjoy a win over those sheep shagging bastards.
