these are the powers that aj has.
An individual who has significant control or influence over a company can be a person or legal entity, such as another company or firm. As per some examples provided by Companies House, “control” and “influence” can be exercised in a number of different ways:
A person directs the activities of a company, trust or firm.
A person can ensure that a company, trust or firm generally adopts the activities which they desire.
A person has absolute decision rights over decisions related to the running of the business of the company, for example relating to:
    – Adopting or amending the company’s business plan.
    – Changing the nature of the company’s business.
    – Making any additional borrowing from lenders.
    – Appointment or removal of the CEO.
    – Establishing or amending any profit-sharing, bonus or other incentive scheme of any nature for directors or employees.
    – The grant of options under a share option or other share based incentive scheme.
A person has absolute veto rights over decisions related to the running of the business of the company, such as adopting or amending the company’s business plan, or making additional borrowing from lenders.
Where a person holds absolute veto rights over the appointment of the majority of directors, meaning those directors who hold a majority of the voting rights at meetings of the board on all or substantially all matters.
A person who is not a member of the board of directors but regularly or consistently directs or influences a significant section of the board, or is regularly consulted on board decisions and whose views influence decisions made by the board.
A company founder who no longer has a significant shareholding in the company they started, but makes recommendations to the other shareholders on how to vote and those recommendations are always or almost always followed.

A LOYALIST Rangers supporters group has said fans have been "badly let down" by the Dave King-led board while backing a silent protest over Ibrox "mismanagement".
The Vanguard Bears and the new independent Rangers fans group Follow Rangers Shareholders Ltd are the latest to support the proposed action by the Union Bears ultras group.
The Union Bears said the protest was a response to "issues at the club, at all levels" which it said "need addressed urgently".HeraldScotland:
The Vanguard Bears said the board had been "nothing short of negligent" in its stewardship of the club since they supported the takeover by Dave King's consortium.

And they have said that the board should sell up if it cannot meet the "promises" made after Mr King wrested control of the club from retail entrepreneur Mike Ashley in March, 2015.
After the takeover the new board set a target of 2022 - the club's 150th anniversary - to progress to "the very top".
    HeraldScotland:
The interim chairman Paul Murray said they would present a medium to long-term funding plan in the “very near future” after plugging gaps short term by borrowing from the so-called Three Bears.
The Union Bears, which organised the controversial Goodnight Green and White banner march last month say the new demonstration will take place during Rangers' match against Hearts at Ibrox this Sunday.
Rangers were beaten 4-0 by celtic in the Scottish Cup semi final and since then stars Kenny Miller and Lee Wallace have been suspended by the club in the wake of a row with manager Graeme Murty.
HeraldScotland: (L/R) Greg McKnight, James Blair, Andrew Dickson, Stewart Robertson, Rangers manager Mark Warburton, Chairman Dave King and Vice-Chairman Paul Murray, John Gilligan, John Bennett and Graeme Park at the AGM
Last month it emerged that a wide-ranging review of operations at the club had been launched after chairman Dave King was forced to bid £11 million for 70 per cent of the club's shares.
The bid being made by Mr King's South African-based Laird Investments (Proprietary) Limited comes after a court agreed that he and others acted together to force their way into the Ibrox boardroom three years ago.
The Vanguard Bears said: "Every single Bear on VB supports the actions of the Union Bears this coming Sunday.
"Dave King’s board were welcomed by just about every fan up and down the land and like everyone else, we at VB had high hopes for the future under the new board. Our members voted overwhelmingly in favour of the King consortium taking control.
    HeraldScotland:
"Unfortunately, the Gers support has been badly let down by the present board of directors.
"From poor managerial appointments, to playing the best part of a season with an under 20 coach in charge, to ignoring the Rangers hating media and political elite, the current board have been nothing short of negligent."
The group called on the board to "start living up to the promises they made before taking control of our club".
They said: "If these promises cannot be met, sell up to those who can take the club back to the top again.
"The present malaise is not acceptable. The fans are not prepared to sit back and allow our club to be humiliated any longer. The choice is yours Mr King. "
    HeraldScotland:
Follow Rangers said it "congratulates Union Bears, Vanguard Bears and every supporter who has spoken out to reflect the depth of feeling throughout the support".
They added: "Many of the recent actions of the Rangers board, particularly the lack of clear direction, continue to cause great concern."

Hmm all Rangers supporters groups are Loyalist/Unionist to one extent or another. Don't see the issue.
I'm actually in the minority that I'm glad they are reporting on it. We need media to pick up on these statements to increase pressure and alert the wankers in charge of the true feelings of the support.
    All for it.
    National next please.

you must hang about with too many taigs if you think its insulting to be called a loyalist.
If it had said sectarian group or bigoted group or far right group id get the point but VB are a loyalist group and advertise themselves as such
If it was intended as a dig then its a shite attempt at one. Our support are a shower of easily offended pansies these days, as bad as the taigs at getting offended over petty wee things like this
