  1. Its a setback, but lets no be seen to make excuses like others do.The club has always welcomed any challenge and tomorrow is no different. I have a funny feeling that by Saturday evening we will talking of a new Rangers legend.
  2. If I remember correctly,he met up with Eamon Holmes who was representing the other side.
  3. I thought his overall performance last night was poor, though cant argue with his impact on the result!! That said,I really like him.A bit of rough diamond who think will develop in a very good Rangers stalwart for years to come.
  4. Really rate the laddie,he's the real deal. Ive followed him and his brothers progress for some time, I ave an nephew who has played both with and against them. Both brothers with have a big future in the game.
  5. As Ive said on the match thread,I believe Dorrans and Jack hold the key to what happens at the weekend. Both have to be on the top of their games, but if they sit just in front of the back four and play well,I can see them nullifying a major part of any attacking threat.
  6. I think a lot will come down to Dorrans and Jack,in both protecting the defence and killing the game in midfield.A back four for me,though Tav has to understand he is a defender first, again last night, how many times were we murdered in the right back channel?.
  7. Really impressed me,thought he was one of the few positives to come out of last night.
  8. Aye,and not just blind loyalty. If and its a big if he sets his team out correctly, players stick to the game plan, its possible for us to give them a game. How you do it......I havent a clue!!!!!. Europe has showed their flaws this season, time for legends to be created.
  9. What should happen and what will happen are two very different issues. While I advocate giving the manager until christmas, even I couldnt defend him after a cup defeat to Thistle and an Old firm loss.Personally Im optimistic about the next two games.
  10. I personally would give Pedro till Christmas, then reevaluate the situation then.I dont think we should be looking at how far we are behind them,we should be looking at whether we have improved from Warburtons last matches. At the time when the job came up,I thought Tommy Wright was the stand out candidate,I still believe this.
  11. Ive always said we dont get the recognition we deserve for the quality of opposition we beat that season. That Bayern side are rated one of the greatest sides ever.
  12. Oh for the wisdom of Solomon!!!. I would say its time for cool heads and strong hearts and not rush into hasty decisions.Having given him a preseason and a decent transfer budget the board have backed him enough to suggest he will get a run at it.Personally,I would give hi the first round of league matches.I can see it being pretty tight between three, possibly four teams including ourselves,so I cant see us being adrift after eleven matches.
  13. I must admit I wasnt keen on the glass staircase's when they redeveloped the main stand, but they grew on me.Now I see them as being an iconic part of the old girl.Get them down now!.
  14. Too many to say, though a big mention for the day we won the league at Pittodrie in 87. After years of misery I had given up on the title at Christmas but we hung on in there and eventually clawed our way back.
  15. Rangers 2 Juventus 0 1978.One of the greatest results ever by a British side that is often overlooked. Juventus were basically the Italian side that had finished fourth in the Argentina world cup only a few months before and included some of their all time greatS.The result in Eindhoven in the following round was also up there,Bobby Russell probably had his finest game in a Rangers shirt that night.
  16. I think Jimmy's an often forgotten hero when we talk about the greats of our club.Scorer of over 300 goals almost 40 years service to the club.
  17. Hopefully we can put it to bed early.I can see us cruising this match for eighty minutes maybe 2-0,them pulling one back to make an uncomfortable last few minutes.
  18. Bruno for me,they'll need to take Griffiths the pikey home in a poly bag by the time the big mans finished with him.
  19. Its a start, with the uphill battles the Club will face from G.C.C. its going take a while to get anywhere near what City put on.
  20. Love the guy to bits and he fully deserves to start, but would be a wee bit concerned if he's still first choice a few months from now.Not a reflection on Miller, just think it would mean that Herrera with Morelos might not have progressed the way we had hoped. That said,he should always start against the taigs, they are terrified of him.
  21. At what point does it enter someones head to do this kind of thing?.Beyond words.
