I think the spell on the sidelines actually helped him, he has came back stronger and with more to prove. Big man has a part to play in our future 100%

On that reasoning how do you explain Jamie Vardy winning the premier league with Leicester?
If players are driven enough to succeed they'll play anywhere to get game time and that sometimes means dropping down in standard.
I don't know if he'll turn out any good or not but he's done all he can do to prove he's worth a pre season with us to see if he can handle it. There's also no harm or cost in it either so good luck to the lad he deserves it.
Dele Alli was bought by Tottenham after a season in League 1 and the rest of history. People pretending like if you play well in league 1 it means nothing are weird.

Did I read earlier that it cost us between 2.5 and 3.5 million to loan Sadiq or was I just dreaming cause I swear I read that

He’s a wank ,how he can compare prodan to this shows how much a warmer the guy is tbh
He’s a mong like, wasn’t Prodan a really highly rated player when he signed for us? As far as I’m aware Grezda wasn’t nearly as highly rated as Prodan was

Being injured at the point of a medical does not mean you will fail a medical, unless the medical reveals that there is an underlying problem which will have a lasting effect.
Either the medical did not pick this up, or it is a new issue that has developed since he joined.

Always best to learn from previous mistakes.
Scrutiny by doctors is no mere formality for Rangers. The case of Daniel Prodan, the Romanian defender, who has never kicked a ball since he arrived at Ibrox two years ago is a cautionary tale so de Boer was subjected to a 2.5-hour test. The same lies in store for Hartson, who was close to signing for Tottenham in March until he failed a medical.
Lescott failed a medical with us mind and everyone said it was just because we couldn’t afford him then he went to Greece and done his cruciate.

How? The guy has hardly been fit since we signed him. Surely the fact he was needing surgery would have flagged up in the medical?

We probably watched multiple Osijek games on video when we drew them. If he was widely considered their best player we would have learned of him pretty early incase he was fit to play
That’s the other thing, we signed him when he was injured so how did he pass a medical? Honestly the more you think about the Grezda signing the more it baffles you why we actually spent a decent chunk on him.

Don't bother arguing with him, he talks shite
I know lad was just wondering about how he came to the conclusion that we have a signing policy of signing players that played against us when the majority hadn’t.

Are you asking or suggesting? I've seen remarks that show several players believed Grezda was by far the best player at his previous club. But that's hell of a different from suggesting he was signed based on these views.
Before the gullible or agenda driven seize on this to complain further, if you're suggesting it to be the case do you have any substance for that? Or as I suspect are you questioning other unsubstantiated similar claims?
Didn’t Gerrard say before signing Grezda he asked Barisic and Katic about him?Highly doubt we scouted him thoroughly before signing him because he was injured for the last half of last season and we didn’t have much of a scouting system in place before that point.

A lot of criticism for the players, but not one word who signed them ,Gerrard ! His signing policy seems to be sign players who have played against us, continuing with Jones, hastie, Stewart.☹️
Many times did Katic, Goldson, Mcauley, Grezda, Kent, Coulibaly, Worrall, Flanagan, Polster or Ejaria play against us before we signed them?

Goal difference will mean nothing unless City lose a game and Liverpool draw one.
Find it funny how OGS getting a deal is now funny after people were wax lyrical over him a month or 2 ago.
Anyone with brains was saying give him till the end of the season and get Pochetino

how can you pick a guy at right back who has not played for 3 months and is fucking useless anyway look at his positioning on that goal he runs into the middle and leaves sane with loads of space
Yup he’s too stuck in the past, took the team to his old training ground and even tried that old Fergie trick of playing a youngster in midfield (pereira).

He’s one of the players Gerrard trusts the most, almost like his guy on the pitch he can count on to play the way he wants more than most. Can see him being captain after Tav leaves tbh.
