Fair enough I get you now.

I think we're all guilty of how selective we can be when it comes to decisions going for and against us. There was a huge difference in reactions on here (Co. Ometely understandable on a fan's forum) when comparing the red card for Sterling to the red card for the tackle on Lundstram in the St Johnstone game. Both were pretty similar tackles with ultimately the same outcome.

    That's a definite bud. It's human nature.

If we can't acknowledge the decisions that we do get therein lies the problem why people think more calls go against us.

The Goldson handball did go in our favour. Just because it was the correct decision doesn't make that any less true.

The last few pages have been about dodgy refereeing decisions and I assumed, possibly incorrectly, that @Albetz85 when mentioning the Goldson incident going in our favour in the context of games against them, that we perhaps "got away with one".

That's how I interpreted his post, as I already said, maybe incorrectly.

The point I'm trying to make is that the Goldson handball was called correctly.

More bad decisions going against us in old firm games than ones benefitting us.

Goldson 'handball' is only one I can think of in our favour which was a tough call regardless

That one didn't  "go in our favour " though bud. Despite the narrative at the time from the usual rancid suspects in our media/pundits.

There is a video from the start of that season with an official or maybe ex ref showing a few pundits (including sutton) that when the ball is rattled towards you from a couple of yards away and you instinctively put your hands up to protect your face, it's not deemed a pen.

Like many others I don't believe for one minute that there's a conspiracy against us, with cunts meeting in secret to try and fuck us over

I do know however that the constant narrative from the press and pundits (particularly leading up to games against them) must have an affect on refs.

They know the shitstorm that's coming their way if they give anything against nonce fc.

It’s been said a thousand times over, and mostly by the mainstream media ( but funnily the saying has become non existent now), Willie collum always makes the game about collum. Now it’s defend him and attack Rangers. The hatred of Rangers outweighs the truth.

Indeed, by comparison we have very few mental cases in our support compared to them.  The only real stand out I can think of is those nutters from Northern Ireland that sent political figures & Neil Lennon spoof explosives via post.  But that very much seems to be an exception.

On the other hand, I've seen their lot split a ref's head open with a coin for giving a penalty against them.  They are the only fan base I've seen in Scotland have to have stewards restrain fans from invading the pitch to attacks refs.

They're the only club I've ever seen, anywhere, cause a referee strike because of the abuse they dished out over decisions.

I can think of 2 instances where a ref or official has been chased out his job, both by celtic.

None of this is a surprise though, as a fan base they are completely unhinged - let's not forget "shark gate" as funny as it was, that was a fan literally ripping up a metal fence that Lawell had put there to protect the team.  They ripped through those fences and literally chased their own team bus out the car park.

We're perfectly entitled to ask for the audio here; it's not a 1 off.  This is the 3rd incredible decision to have gone against us in the last 3 old firm games, but not only is the call on the handball unexplainable, we've caught them actively trying to cover up the decision.  To say that the we should act responsibly for the sake of officials safety has no grounding.  It would however be an appropriate thing to say to a fan base that has history of assaulting refs.

They split dallas' head open with a coin first and it was immediately after he had treatment on the pitch for his head wound that he gave us the penalty.

It was a massive "get it right fucking up yous, ya scum bastards" moment
