  1. It was for the fans mate They absolutely couldn't have games without fans, just couldn't let it happen........... well apart from Boxing Day but that's different, you don't need fans on Boxing Day and playing without them is fine
  2. Got a feeling he was stunned , mind that's in slow motion so basically the cunt grabbed him and barged him. All over in a second or so
  3. It's a blatant foul and Clancy has a good look at it and chooses to ignore it. It's like something out of American Football Looks like a planned move to push a player a few yards back from the defensive line and playing runners on side
  4. Watched that last night - learned very little A bizarre performance from Hibs. Their strength is counter attacking with pace on the break. They done that a couple of times and should have scored at least one - absolute sitter by Nisbett. However they spent most of their time passing around at the back, slowing things down and, rather than break quickly, conceding possession in dangerous areas. On 4 or 5 occasions they had space to attack with men up the park and doubled back to pass to their defenders. Strange tactics. Tarriers were ok in spells which translates to world beaters in SMSM. Iniesta had a decent debut if truth be told. Gifted the first and penalty would have been ruled out if we had VAR (chest first then hand) All that matters though is points so, with the benefit of a wee break to clear up some Covid, hamstrings and sign a few, it's certainly a good start for them
  5. It came off his chest first VAR would overrule
  6. Rogic is a cert for the Australian squad Kyogo is the only one who was likely to make the Japan squad (Hetate 0 caps 0 squads 4 Olympic caps, Maeda 2 caps - 68 minutes total - 3 squads last squad 2019, Ideguchi 15 caps 17 squads last squad 2019) They're saying Carter-Vickers for the USA squad but don't see it (8 caps - all friendlies, last squad 2018) There's more likelihood of James Sands being in the USA squad The truth is the tarriers are likely to have only Rogic away as Kyogo looks like being left out On the other hand it's more realistic that we could be missing Aribo, Roofe, Alfredo and Sands - not that you'd know it via the Scottish mhedia
  7. In favour of the rule but not the timing There will have been games played this season where injured players have had to stay on the park as all 3 subs were used or had to go off and leave their team with 10 men. To change this mid season flies in the face of sporting integrity but that won't be the first such decision this season
  8. I agree, he'll march to the tune they play as always They'll have at least 20 players available and given that the league has forced teams to recall youth players and register 40 year old ex-players to cobble together 13 players to play matches then any request to postpone on the basis of players who have been signed after they knew there was "no wriggle room" should be declined Interestingly both Southampton and West Ham have made a valid point that players signed in January should not be eligible to play in games that have been postponed before they were signed, a point which I would agree with This is Scotland though and the needs and demands of one team are rarely declined
  9. Keith Jackson copy and paste of Hollicom email to put pressure on Gov to allow fans on 17th at the theatre of screams
  10. They were fully aware of this when they voted to bring forward the break
  11. They’ll maybe ask for it to be played next season ……. It worked for the Scottish cup
  12. When teams are being forced to recall youth players from loans (against their own rules) and register 40 year old ex players just to make up 13 players so that games don't get postponed there's no way they'll allow a postponement based on 5 players being on international duty (3 of whom have yet to kick a ball in Scottish football) when they'll still have over 20 players available............ that would look dodgy and corrupt Next you'll be asking us to believe that games must be played even with youths and 40 year olds in cobbled together 13 man squads because they're trying to get games played while they can to avoid fixture congestion - but they then cancel two rounds of fixtures that could/should be played in order to allow one club a chance to get some players fit and sign some new players........ that would look dodgy and corrupt No governing body would allow itself to look stupid or dodgy or corrupt like that...... no way
  13. Makes the decision to bow to their masters even more ludicrous. Hoping for no weather postponements Hoping for no covid postponements (the St Mirren circus proved there will be no more leeway given) Hoping that restrictions will be lifted - they won't and they know they won't Hoping that no-one notices that there will be a round of fixtures with no fans followed by a close down to ensure there are no fixtures with no fans followed by several weeks of fixtures with no fans All to allow their pet club time to get some players back and strengthen their squad How that GI Joe fuckwit is still in a job is beyond me Incompetent lying prick
  14. Motherwell and St Mirren will be getting some nice loanees from the bheasts
  15. Callum Davidson was on tv last night saying they've got 5 players out with Covid and he dreads his phone ringing Fucking circus
  16. Where are you seeing this? Assuming you mean Boxing Day with 500 crowds?? They're all saying fans in grounds is the reason they want the break brought forward - but don't worry about Boxing Day????? No surprises who the biggest loser will be if this shit gets backed
  17. 48 hours will be enough time yo allow them to rattle up a cricket score against a covid ravaged St Mirren before closing down for injuries to heal and reinforcements to be brought in Why agree to Hibs postponing 2 games in October but now say St Mirren must play??? Corrupt
  18. Essentially what the tarriers are saying is that there should be no more game splayed until full houses are allowed. which is a ridiculous request given that we don't know how long the restrictions will last There should be no chance of this being granted but sadly this is Scotland and the SPFL They'll be on a zoom call with Doncaster, Mulraney and the boys just now selecting dates for the re-arranged fixtures based on the African Nations schedule and agreeing new protocols stating anyone returning from Africa can't play for 6 months
  19. To make it even more perfect the report states the restrictions will kick in after Boxing Day. I've no idea if football crowds will be hit and would guess that if they were then Boxing Day fixtures would be included, but how hilarious would it be if we got a full house on Boxing Day and then the crowds were banned. I seriously think some heads could actually explode in timland
  20. Our cup record, particularly over the past 4/5 seasons since we've been back in the top flight, has been terrible. We really should have picked up a couple of trophies at least especially as it's not the most taxing thing to do. For some perspective on their win yesterday they played 4 games - Hearts (H), Raith Rovers (H), St Johnstone (N) and Hibs (N) and they've won a trophy. I'd be celebrating if it was us absolutely. Will it give them confidence - possibly Does it make them world beaters - does it fuck (unless you read or listen to SMSM, where they're now sensational ) They've been riding their luck for weeks and scraping wins in most games. Eventually their luck may run out but until it does if we keep winning there's nothing anyone can do to stop us. I'd love a cup final win - its been way too long - but the only show in town is the league. If we won the next 10 leagues in a row and never won a single cup I'd be frustrated at the cup situation but I think I'd cope
  21. Referee for Saturday s Alan Muir, you can rest assured he will know the script with Aribo and won't hesitate to pull a card. Not only did he play well over the allocated 6 minutes last night but he incredibly failed to book Ralston for leaving the field and jumping about hugging fans after the midnight winner Big call for Gio, we need him more against the vermin than tomorrow but he is on fire at the moment I'd play him and tell him not to tackle - it's not the best part of what he offers anyway Get ahead and take him off at 3-0
