  1. I think you’ll find that Bolingoli is a separate entity so celtic cannot be responsible infact he changed his name by deed poll to St Patrick Bolingoli earlier today
  2. Considering what Ryan Kent was sent off for in a pre season friendly and roundly condemned as being stupid , that is a definite red card. the power sport scene and sky editorial team have is huge and, in the case of BBC Scotland with their ongoing challenges/inability to report fairly and impartially on us it is very concerning anyone who thinks that would not have produced a 5 minute discussion if it were Alfredo probably thinks Katie Price is a virgin
  3. This has been a consistent factor for many, many years - we used to joke we would be home before the tarriers were finished Over a 38 game season they must pay the guts of an hour more game time than us and score a few goals/win a few points in this Tim time. On a similar vein though another massive bug bear of mine is how we see out games. Where they bombard weakened/tired opponents in the last 10-15 mins, we far too often take the foot off the gas and coast This season of all seasons we nee to make every second count
  4. Just saw the video of Edouard and my first thought was that compared to Alfredo's red card at the theatre of screams for one action making contact with the mutant's shoulder this was two/three actions the last of which was an arm to the face Everyone to a man said that Morelos was an idiot, got sucked in and HAD to go, no sympathy, no excuses On a straight comparison, Eduoard's is worse and if it was Alfredo he would be cited by the CO 100%. On a wider comparison similar or worse happen every week without punishment so I'll be stunned if there is any further action against the £200m man, nor indeed against any other player do the same unless there name is Alfredo Morelos or the swinging arm hits a player in a hooped shirt
  5. He had it some form and was playing very well, particularly when played in his proper position as an advanced midfielder. Enter Conor McGregor's pal Alan Power with an absolute shocker of a (cowardly)tackle that effectively ended Dorran's season at the end of October (Father Jack's first game in charge of Kilmarnock ironically) If that filthy tackle had been on Forrest or Rogic it would have been replayed into folklore by the mhedia instead of failing to make the highlights package and disappearing as if it never happened Good luck to GD although I wish he wasn't going to those cunts
  6. Brilliant post Scotty i truly believe that this generation of fans are and will be among the staunchest and most loyal in our great club’s history when they tried to kill us and taunted us about how our grandchildren would support them, they got it soooo wrong. The reality is that they now have a generation that have had a free ride and hence expect nothing but success. Watch them disappear as we turn the tide (and the know it’s coming) 55 will be a watershed moment - beautifully glorious for us and that feeling will multiply when we watch them implode love our club, our loyalty and the passion we have shown on our journey will be there as always today with my 16 year old son (11 years with a season ticket)knowing that good times are coming and they will be the sweetest ever buzzing watp
  7. First chance to reply to my post bit embarrassed that I didn’t pick up on the bit at the end where he tells us it was a big joke. Having said that if it’s meant to be funny the guy needs to pick a new career ffs any editor allowing this shite to be published also needs a change of career or, better still, sacked
  8. This rhag is plumbing new depths even for them. IRA march through Govan ending in chaos? OF game tomorrow? Caught publishing pish yesterday? Need to retract and apologise for said bullshit? OK so lets publish some top level bile about Rangers and their fans that wouldn't be out of place on ill phil's hatefest blog..... Inside the life of a celtic supporter infiltrating Rangers fans to sing bad songs - OldFirmFacts Twitter's funny man is back and this time he takes a look at the sectarianism debate in Scottish football. Please see ourPrivacy Noticefor details of your data protection rights The bit I can never get right is which syllable to emphasise. Is it ‘We’re up to our knees in FE***n blood’ or ‘We’re up to our knees in fe***n BLOOD?’. Obviously, being deep undercover it’s not the kind of question I can just ask the Bear next to me but it’s been doing my head in for years. ADVERTISING inRead invented by Teads Sorry I’m getting ahead of myself. I should explain a bit about why I have been learning those songs. My name’s Martin, and I’m a celtic supporter, born and bred. I’m a season-ticket holder too. At Ibrox. You might have read about guys like me on Rangers forums. Or, more likely, you might have been sent screenshots from Rangers forums accompanied by cry-laughing emojis. The 3000 section of Ibrox closed off to fans after UEFA sanctions (Image: Action Images via Reuters) The sender might have said something like “Haha state of these warped sevconians convinced we’re infiltrating their support lol”. The screenshot itself might have asked if there are infiltrators within the Rangers support and add “know the person next to you. Could they be that obsessed to have season tickets to go to the games to hurt us and tarnish our name to get us kicked out of Europe etc?”. Your (perfectly understandable) reaction might have been “Haha no way typical lol”. And yet. For years now I’ve been vindicating those supposedly “paranoid” Rangers fans by infiltrating their support. It’s not been easy but boy has it been worth it. My first game was in the early ’90s. I’d been following celtic since the late ‘70s, but by this point we were utter sh**e. I’m talking Wayne Biggins era. The age of “actually, we pushed Raith Roversevery step of the way in that final”. (Image: Internet Unknown) Me and my pals Declan, Seamus, Rudi Vata and Big Seamus donned our staunchest brogues and immediately set about learning that weird air punch/swagger/shuffle routine you’ll be familiar with from the Rangers supporters taking to the floor in T2: Trainspotting’s “No more Catholics” scene. Obviously we couldn’t just start Billyboying away willy nilly. We worked hard at gaining the trust of the Bears surrounding ourselves in the stands, and tried to sell them on the merits of casual bigotry. To a man (or Bear), they turned to me and said: “Yes Martin, I understand you wanting to antagonise our city rivals but why the anti-Catholic lyrics?” I realised that these Rangers fans weren’t actually bothered either way about Catholics, so I knew I had to redouble my efforts if I was to make the rest of Scottish society believe that Ibrox was home to thousands of people singing anti-Catholic songs for decades. To this day, it still amazes me that just because you can hear thousands of Rangers fans singing about being “up to our knees in fe***n blood” people assume this somehow reflects badly on Rangers fans. Quite the opposite. Myself and my fellow infiltrators taught them the words and encouraged them every step on the way. As those innocent Rangers fans suggest on their forums, this one’s entirely on celtic fans. (Image: Rangers FC/Press Association Images) You’ll have noticed the indignant responses of many genuine Rangers fans this week following UEFA’s decision to punish Rangers for their songbook. A popular line has been “If we’re going to get into trouble we need to stop singing the songs”. You might be thinking, “Isn’t the fact that singing about f****n’ blood is indisputably A Bad Thing a more pressing reason?”, but don’t blame them. I’ve been convincing the Bears around me to use that line. Since UEFA’s intervention I’ve been working overtime in my quest to spread disinformation. Every tweet you see from a Rangers fan that makes you think “Wow, these people simply do not get it” was actually posted by me from one of my numerous burner accounts. Bet you feel stupid now. You might have seen a Rangers fan tweet about “handwringers” wanting to “grass us in to UEFA” and thought “Why don’t they realise objecting to anti-Catholic lyrics in 2019 is light years from handwringing?”. Sorry, but that one was me. Maybe you read a Rangers fan urge his fellow Bears: “Remember record the CFC game tonight. “Listen for any chants thst (sic) may be deemed racist or sectarian & the new @farenet member here will pass on to them” and thought “Well, this person seems incapable of taking ownership of his own flaws and is instead trying to deflect the blame onto his rival, like a five-year-old in a sandpit”. You would have been 100 per cent right, only that was me too. After all those years labelling the people who sang “FTP” and “up to our knees in fe***n blood” as bigots, you’re probably feeling a bit sheepish. Don’t. You’re just one of thousands who’ve been taken in by The Rogues in Brogues. And if you’re reading this fellow Bears, ignore everything above this sentence. See you for a classic singalong on Sunday. WATP.
  9. Family first, always. All the very best to you all
  10. The Gerrard effect is massive Professionalism Standards Respect Crucially - the reputation of a true world class legend. Players like Aribo, Ojo, Goldson and Defoe (Kent last year too) wouldn't have signed for previous managers
  11. First time I've seen a £11.27 stake 😀
  12. Telling that SG has so far spent around £8m (lion's share of his spend so far) on CBs. If you're going to win leagues you need to get the defence right and we are looking strong in there. So far (without having been seriously tested mind you) I've been most impressed with Katic (absolute beast and first choice for me) and Edmondson (fastest and best distribution plus solid in the air and loves a tackle) Haven't looked forward to a season as much for a long, long time
  13. NDAs have been abused by individuals and companies for decades to buy silence. As Philip Green and others are now finding out they cannot (as you rightly point out) prevent parties raising criminal actions but that was the reason they were used/abused in most cases. Ironically the existence of an NDA is often now frowned upon by the courts who see them as what they often were - a means of bullying individuals/employees in order to protect another individual/company.
  14. I, for one, would like to see him asked (preferably by Police Scotland) " are you aware of any payments made to parents of victims of child sex abuse as part of an NDA between celtic FC (on behalf of celtic Boys Club) and in relation to a criminal offence that occurred in the USA in the early 90s when you were Financial Controller at CFC during your first spell at there? Further were you aware of several large payments made to The Trophy Centre during your first period at CFC and did the goods received for these payments legitimately match and justify the amounts paid to TTC?" In simple terms - "were you aware of/part of a cover up of child sex abuse? were you aware of/ involved in a money laundering scheme?" He may well be innocent but then again he may be in deeper than is thought.
  15. I know G27 he's better ignored - like the type of tube who stands himself in the pub trying to strike up a conversation and chip away at people for arguments. Just got right under my skin comparing us with them in any way surrounding this
  16. Reported the bastard to the police back in the early 70s when they first knew instead of covering it up to protect their "good name" - had they done that many, many young boys would have been saved from the most heinous of crimes. Reported the USA abuse in stead of covering it up to protect their "good name" - had they done that many, many young boys would have been saved from the most heinous of crimes. Say sorry rather than claim to be a separate entity and then pay the abc to change their name celtic don't just stink when it comes to this - they are rancid, rotten to the core, despicable bastards. For anyone to come across as fighting their corner is completely unfathomable
  17. Given that there has been, certainly in City's case, a major conviction and a huge jail sentence perhaps they felt the need to do something. Still not anything like having one unproven allegation and paying compensation. But in the context of what I said you are obviously correct to show that my statement was wrong - well done. You seem to be argumentative, somewhat arrogant and for some reason appear to positioning Rangers as being as bad as celtic on this subject which I find bizarre
  18. To my knowledge we haven't. "been paying accusers to stay quiet, ignoring allegations completely or anything else, every club that's had staff accused have fucked up in some way." Can you show me where we have been guilty of any of these? No company on earth is going to become embroiled in a compensation litigation for an alleged offence that was never, and can never, be proven. There would be a queue of "victims" a mile long if they thought they only had to say Dunn abused them and we would hand them a bag of cash. Thats being sensible as a business - not failing to take responsibility
  19. The Dude For a clearly intelligent person to state that Rangers are "just as guilty" as celtic when it comes to child sex abuse based on referring one alleged victim (obviously there was never any conviction) to the liquidators is truly staggering. My thought is that Rangers would never be responsible for any compensation as there was never any guilt proven (innocent until proven guilty) therefor rather than waste money on lawyers they referred them to BDO who I'm quite sure will say no guilt, no compo and may need to pay lawyers to contest. For the record If any Rangers employee is/was found guilty of child sex abuse I would want us as a club to take responsibility for that. If we knew about it and never reported it I would want us hammered. If we actively covered it up and paid hush money I would find it difficult to continue supporting us. If a succession of managers, directors and senior players knew and said nothing resulting in several more victims I would 100% be finished with the club. To not only compare but state we are just as guilty as that lot is beyond the pale - have a word with yourself FFS
  20. Mulraney is Lawell with a lower league tracksuit on and needs to be watched every minute of very day. Very dangerous hater. My bet would be that Liewell is working with him on a plan to get this back at the top of the agenda and fight like fuck for his previously refused inquiry - obviously "in the best interests of the game" They will, as previously alluded to on this thread, be playing the card of drop the child abuse stuff and we'll drop this. NO, NO, NO - I would be calling them out BIG TIME. No problem Peter/Mike lets go for the inquiries - oh look Craig Whyte (already sine die) was a bit naughty/niave in 2011 but the SFA should have picked this up at several stages and failed to do so. Who at the SFA are you going to hammer like you did CW? This is a cfc v sfa fight now. The 5 way agreement put it to bed but the Res12 haters won't let go and neither will sleekit Pete (remember his letter to Reagan where he demands a full inquiry) NOW lets have a look at this Child Sex Abuse, who knew what and when, who covered it up and allowed many, many more victims to be abused. Who is still covering it up and WHY? If Craig Whyte (who was involved in Scottish football for 10 minutes and held no official roles in the running of the game) can be Sine Die for failing to disclose that he was disqualified as a director and failing to pay HMRC leading to administration (this an offence deemed second only to match fixing) then what punishments would be appropriate for high profile executives who have held the very highest of positions in both their clubs and the governing bodies (SFA and SPFL) and who have failed to inform the authorities of the most heinous crimes carried out at their club in order to protect the "good name" of said club. If they come hunting us to deflect from the biggest scandal in sporting history ever lets get the gloves off. BRING IT ON
  21. Only if we don't replace them with the same or better Creampuff If we brought in Trent Alexander Arnold, Messi and Ronaldo we'd be just as strong I'd say
  22. Morelos is worth more to us in transfer revenue than if he stays. I say this for the following reasons He's had an excellent season in terms of goals and assists therefor (provided buyers can see beyond the red cards) his value is high, perhaps even as high as £20m in the EPL market He WANTS to leave and has made no secret of this. If we keep him against his will he could easily spit the dummy and become a negative in the dressing room He has poor self discipline and will be even more provoked next season and even more demonised in our mhedia He is not a team player as witnessed on many, many occasions. We actually played better as a team when he was suspended at the end of the season His record in big games is poor so far. If we can get the right money I think we can get as good, if not better, as a replacement. Kent is out of our hands but if he was wise (and he strikes me as a bit of a clear thinker) he could do far worse than a further season up here. His time will come sooner rather than later and what he needs is games, experience and development. Tav, for me, would be the hardest to replace. He has been outstanding for us and would be a huge miss. I'd only sell for serious money. He's worth more than Morelos imo and bear in mind the tarriers talk £30m plus for Tierney. Tav is a better player than him by a distance All in all if all 3 leave we will have enough cash to keep moving forward The biggest improvement this year has been how we've progressed as a team as the season went on Just as a thought, imo the most consistent and impressive youngster coming through the academy is Nathan Patterson the young right back. He'll be 18 soon and could have a big future
  23. Their losses without CL revenues are significant and will probably mean they will try to sell a player or 2 this summer to balance any spend on a rebuild job. The challenge is that their most valuable assets are more crucial to their team now than at any time in the last 8 years as they now have a real competitor for the first time in that long. If they fail to make the CL groups again the losses of last season and next will be huge and they will sell anyone they receive a decent offer for. We also need to be smarter and not chuck silly money out, particularly on wages. Things are starting to balance out and we can overcome them without being stupid financially. Get rid of the deadwood and add a bit of quality. They also have other financial considerations and they know it. Next season will be a bitter battle thats why they went for TLB - pressure on refs will be out of control and the victim card will be doing overtime. They have no levels they won't sink to but if we crank up the pressure and keep winning they and in particular TLB will implode.
