Cumbria_blue 51
Come on, Im serious! This would be if Weir and Wilson were to start at centre back. We've all seen Boughie going forward, sometimes he is our greatest attacking threat. He has pace. He's more defensively sound than Whittaker will ever be. The only concnern would be his final ball, and the fact that he hasnt played there much. Is he an option there?
TexasGers 96
Not for me, no more players out of position please
Scott-RFC 308
It isnt a bad idea really. But Kevs right we need to get players in their right positions
EuanC 0
forward this to walter, it would be right up his street.
50ShadesofBlue 667
He should play DMC before RB!
adamlafferty 1
I know theres a lot of people against this idea but Boogie would make a far better RB than Whittaker ever will.
NOLUWDC 1
Wouldn't mind tbh. He spends half the time up the pitch anyway.
Cumbria_blue 51
He's played there for Charlton before IIRC. I reckon he'd be better than Whittaker or Broadfoot out there.
TexasGers 96
Against DU, Whittaker looked much better than he has in recent weeks
Shambles 2
I would rather shift Sasa there & put Stevie Smith in at LB. Not ideal but SW is awful at the moment & he really must be dropped ASAP. Majid is a must at CH though.

Cumbria_blue 51
I know theres a lot of people against this idea but Boogie would make a far better RB than Whittaker ever will. So would Messi. Would we shoe-horn him in there if we had him? Messi is too lightweight for the SPL :pierre:
BritishBear 34
Bougherra and Wilson at CB and drop Weir, then maybe we might be able to push up a lot further. Bougherra and Wilson should now be our CB pairing and Weir can cover.
docspiderman 1,254
The answer is that anyone alive with eyesight and two legs would be better than Whittaker.Cannot make simple passes to his own team, cannot see where his opponent, cannot cross the ball, has no coordination and he no clue about how to defend. Jimbo. 952
At a push i'd sit him in front of the back four. He'd be wasted at RB IMO.
BryanRfc 1
Great idea! Lets play our best centre back out of position! YES! "Walter, Walter . . . . . ." . . . "Yes" "Bougherra, out of position, talk to me."

Why condemn something before it's even been tried I'm not sure anything could make our defence weaker right now.
