Allzo 91
Trialists are allowed to play in friendly matches are they not? So we could see him against Clyde or Newcastle if he's here in time.
Allzo 91
I hope he impresses enough to get a shot at a contract. Can't think of too many trialists who have really shone in recent years though, anyone think of any?Blumstein and we didn't sign him

simplythebest 11,453
I think the lack of permit would stop him playing in any UK matches, friendly or not.

Redmond7 1,206
But why can't he play as an 'amateur' and then he's not actually working? In fact as a trialist, he wouldn't be getting paid anyway surely so technically he's not working. Training is part of the job so it seems strange he can do that but not play in a friendly but then I don't know the law.Don't really remember him much from the World Cup so no idea if he's any use or not.
