well look at it this way

The premiership sides stuffed full with a squad oversized, overpaid players can only register 25 to play till re registering in january? am i right there?

so take man city for instance and their squad consisting of :

GK Shay Given

2 DF Micah Richards

3 DF Wayne Bridge

4 MF Vincent Kompany

5 DF Pablo Zabaleta

6 MF Michael Johnson

7 MF James Milner

8 MF Shaun Wright-Phillips

9 FW Emmanuel Adebayor

10 FW Robinho

11 MF Adam Johnson

12 GK Stuart Taylor

13 DF Aleksandar Kolarov

14 FW Roque Santa Cruz

17 DF Jérôme Boateng

18 MF Gareth Barry (vice-captain)

19 DF Joleon Lescott

20 FW Felipe Caicedo

No. Position Player

21 MF David Silva

22 DF Greg Cunningham

24 MF Patrick Vieira

25 GK Joe Hart

26 GK David González

27 FW Jô

28 DF Kolo Touré (vice-captain)

29 MF Kelvin Etuhu

30 DF Shaleum Logan

32 FW Carlos Tévez (captain)

34 MF Nigel de Jong

36 DF Javan Vidal

38 DF Dedryck Boyata

42 MF Yaya Touré

43 FW Alex Nimely

45 FW Mario Balotelli

50 MF Abdisalam Ibrahim

There will be a few disappointed but talented players sitting in the stands with their fingers up their arse, taking a big wage for hee haw.

Prehaps some of the players have no future? so how do you put them in the shop window if they are in the stand?

You loan them out of course!

However! in every league in europe you will find clubs trying to cut costs therefore probably wont be interested.

Prime time for walter to go to the clubs and offer them a shop window to showcase their expendible talent (no stage bigger than the champions league).

We could wait till the last day of the window and offer that oppurtunity and say well pay £10k pw for their services (after all £10k pw for their players to play week in week out is better than the player taking a full wage sitting in the stand!!!)

I see us getting 2 or 3 loan signings in the last day when premiership clubs are looking to cut wage costs for 6 months at least.

There are very few EPL sides with squads that size. The smaller teams will have no problem with this new ruling.

You dont need to register players under the age of 21 in the squad its only the ones over you have to include.so your squad can have as many as you like depending on age

I have to agree, but the transfer fee would be a bit high collectively. :craphead:

Loan deals my good man. Loan deals.

Na I get what you're meaning, but we wouldn't get any of those players - on that list - to come to Ibrox. They're all in the first team.

A number of those listed above are already out on loan or negotiating for new clubs.

i didnt know that.

however i cant see teams loaning players out to premiership rivals (even with a clause stipulating that they cant play against them twice a year).

That player could make a difference in your team making europe, relegation whatever.
